  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Off-topic stuff…

My daughter shoots a Korean made Olympic recurve bow -98% of connection are allens but three of the connection points are SAE because most common accessories for those points are US manufactured so I always need two sets of wrenches when changing things and/or tightening things

Actual delay official and order of deliveries confirmed?

It’s funny. Having spent 4 days in College Ststion Texas last weekend I think I know where 60% of all Broncos were shipped to. Having seen probably 100 broncos in 4 days (I’m not exaggerating) I think I’ve lost interest in PBY. It was the color of our scout I drove at 16 and I liked it but I...

I’m just not a hoodie guy. But like that design and color. I’d like a 1/4 zip but something semi casual. In case SM merch team is listening

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

That’s the only issue with short notice. The opportunities are great but clearing schedule and getting there is tricky. But if you can make it work it’s great seeing them in person

    Scout Color Poll #1

LMAO. I think that all the time. Same with “red heads”. It’s orange-ish 🙂

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I’ll argue against this again. When you see them in person and the idea of the light wrapping the corner is killer. If they can pull off a small amber signal that is separate and looks good that would be ok but the red must be red through the corner. Just like front needs to stay white and use...

    Scout Color Poll #1

My father in law bought a Barney for my daughter on first birthday being a smart ass. She played with it for like a week then wanted nothing to do with it (thank God) but a week was enough to scar me for life. And unless it’s a kidney stone I try to avoid any/all drugs all the time. 😃. So the...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I like this silhouette and agree but the front hood sneak peek they offered isn’t my cup of tea. I think it’s gonna be a love it or hate it type design. Like the Juke- hated if my initially then grew on me and now I see they are bringing it back as EV for Europe and the design (what I’ve seen)...

    Scout Color Poll #1

My first new car purchase was a cranberry purple color. In life purple is my favorite color but on a scout -maybe a paler, Smokey purple would be good but on a large SUV I’d be dreaming it turns into Barney-makes me suffer through that damn song then proceeds to eat me (at least I’d be out of my...

I thought recalled @CP1@scoutmotors mentioning both but time escapes me on this forum so that could have been 8 months ago 😃

Cool. I thought it looked more clay brown then I saw your pic and thought-wow, I like the reddish orange color. Thanks for clarifying before I decided to order one
