  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

We wont, they have their own solution, the EV equipment will be far cheaper to run and maintain. It's brilliant! https://www.cat.com/en_US/products/new/power-systems/electric-power/mobile-equipment-charger/112964.html

Makes total sense. Its shocking how much you get with the Ioniq for the money, not to mention solid charging. I think SM will be high initially at Launch (just like R2 and everything else for that matter) but to survive they'll have to get the cost down somehow.

CX90 is a really good looking car IMO. But I am curious as to why the Lucid Gravity did not make your list?

    All terrain tires

It doesn't say anything about EV from what I can find, but they have listed LT 10 & 12 ply so it should work with no problem.

    All terrain tires

Will do! I've heard a lot of positive things from them, but what matters most is longevity.

    New Scout Review Video

Dang it, I did a quick search but didn't see anything lol! I'm going to take it down to spare anymore confusion. I was just hyped to find some new Scout media :ROFLMAO:

    New Scout Review Video

I haven't seen anything posted on this yet, but there is a recent video from GreenCars on the Scout vehicles. The video shows fantastic size comparison, has some updated information, and some great breakdowns on the design etc. 🤙

    All terrain tires

I got great mileage from the tires on my Tesla Model 3. However, my Rivian R1T has Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT All Season tires on it. I'm coming up on 19k miles and I'll be lucky if I can make it to 25k. I will say that I do drive my truck hard at times and it spends a decent amount of time...

Scout Concepts in Scottsdale, Arizona, April 25, 2026

Would love to see them, but I can't travel across the country to see them, and it doesn't really make sense especially when I'm 2 hours away from where they will be built.

March 2026 Scout Production Center Update

Absolutely stunning progress! To all the naysayers talking about SM delays...shut it! :ROFLMAO:

    FB find of the day

Some serious retro vibes, kind of like the orange coating slightly worn off the 1157 bulb? :ROFLMAO:

    Key Fob question

This was the thing that kept me from buying either the Lightning or Hummer EV and buying a Rivian instead. Neither Ford or GM had anything close to what Rivian and Tesla offer for phone to vehicle controls. And after 3 years of Tesla ownership I couldn't fathom having a key fob or be without the...

    Key Fob question

I mean if you really think about it, the phone has become the new key fob. It is something you have to carry, and something that has to have battery power to transmit a signal to connect to the vehicle. They both do the exact same thing and realistically people always have their phones with them...

    F1

Well you know what they say....money talks lol! I wonder if they will be a garden leave? Surely there would have to be. However, I think this is a good move given all of the knowledge he gained at RB with Honda, this could seriously be the saving grace from AM.

Only thing you forgot was the "mic drop" :ROFLMAO:

    Key Fob question

I understand your side too, and I think as a bridge going from ICE to BEV this would be a very basic inclusion for newly adopted owners. However, I tend to lean more with R1TVT and think its nothing more than "faux-extra step" and just having the vehicle wake and go to sleep on its own just by...

    Key Fob question

As a current EV owner I agree whole heartedly that there is no need for a start button at all. In fact, the Hummer EV had a start button initially and it was one of the reasons I bought a Rivian instead. Interestingly, I have experience the other side of the coin, and the unique experience of...

    Re-think Headlight Design

At this point I have my full trust in SM that the will produce an absolute stunner that will make all us happy in one way or another. Although I will say the wrap through light was gorgeous and I cant wait to see the final product.
