  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

That’s an interesting thought. Seems possible and plausible to me.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I’m a big BMW fan and I love my iX. If Scout gets delayed, one of the Neue Klasse BMWs will be in my driveway.

I think this is going to be amazing!

    Rethink Steering Wheel Design?

I have a similar wheel design in my BMW and I really like it. I know that’s very subjective, but I like how it functions in every way.

Entry Model Specs, Premium Model Price?

Line Setting Ticket is the Scoit build sheet. It could certainly be updated and include the information you mentioned.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I’m not sure it’s used stateside at the moment but it certainly is in the rest of the world. It is a relatively simple engine as far as anything modern goes. I read it was created with developing countries in mind as it is so simple and reliable. Simple and reliable sound like Scout to me!

South Carolina Scouts! Your voice is heard: Direct sales bill gets a hearing on Wednesday!

We had that until the early 2000s if I remember correctly. Still had them in college so I could buy two shots and split it 3 ways, etc. No doubt, we’re a mess and have been for centuries!

South Carolina Scouts! Your voice is heard: Direct sales bill gets a hearing on Wednesday!

Not that we needed more population growth, but Boeing coming to Charleston has been huge. Mercedes is here now and so is Volvo. Those alone are major economic boosters. When you add all the ancillary business like suppliers, support and services for employees, etc. the results are...

Tarrifs on Canada. Would you still buy?

Bingo. Happened last time too with steel tariffs. Many of my suppliers introduced steel surcharges that just kept going up. When that ended the surcharge went away but the price never went back down. It’s like Deja vu all over again.

South Carolina Scouts! Your voice is heard: Direct sales bill gets a hearing on Wednesday!

I am an 8th generation South Carolinian and I can confidently say there is a good chance SC will screw this up. We can’t move forward for always looking backwards. I hope I’m wrong!

We own EVs. Ask Us Anything.

Not for me. The EVs I’ve owned never lined up timing wise or price wise to get a government incentive. I have a charger at home and a charger at work. I think there will still be more and more public charging stations built as the EV fleet grows naturally and consumers demand it.

    Analog Scout?

It was mentioned above, but a nice, lightly used, restomod Scout can be purchased for similar money to what the new scout will sell for. Of course, sky is the limit on a new build restomod. That’s your best bet for what you are asking for.

Those sure would be cool as Terras!
