  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Competitor Beaters

Hitch comment: I believe I heard someone say at one point "[it's 90% done]", meaning their are some minor details to still work out. A fair point on this particular item being low production cost vs add on cost. Towing is big for me (??? Scout Motors for Harvester option ?)

    UWB Digital Key

I'm with you on the hate having to carry key fobs in my pocket these days. I too love the idea of the phone doing the work; however, I am a bit more cautious of this approach unless the technology has or is going to improve. I purchased a lock (well known manufacture) for the front door of my...

    Skid plate

The tow hooks continue downward and appear to be pretty substantial to take most of the abuse. Scout Motors did listen, and are taking the approach that owners want to be able to accessorize. I could see the skid plate being an accessory upgrade for those that would want something stronger...

    360 camera

I did see this option on one of their displays in their inspiration studio. ✅

    Sales

That's an interesting take that would be cool for some. Mine is a 1980.....I don't want to wait that long for my number to come up ?

    Rugged look

SSII is my favorite as well! I reminded myself that growing up I never liked the newer Chevy truck front ends each year they came out after the 90's. However, every time I came around to not only like them but honestly love them. That's not to say that I don't still enjoy the older Chevy's...

    October 24th Reveal Info Dump!

I second that. I was telling my wife the same thing with every picture I sent her. So with that said Scout Motors Community, when they tour across the countryside to show it off, make sure to attend!

Countdown To The New Scout Era: Hands-On Activities Before The Big Reveal!

Can't say enough about how well done the entire event was @Jamie@ScoutMotors. Scout Motors out did themselves!! Everyone was talking about it into the next day even on the way to the airport.

    Slow start

....or just that we all were waiting for the South Carolina Governor to arrive and take his front and center seats.

    Front Bench Seat

Luckily everyone will have the option of either. I like my Chevy where the console folds up if needed, but honestly I havent used that but maybe 3-4 times. Their console design to me looks way more useful for most days. Also, I did talk with the interior designer there and asked where the...

New Scout Trucks To Be Revealed October 24, 2024

Stepping out of the norm here a little (although agree with @R1TVT ), I posted a long time ago about a navy blue with orange accent that I liked to see....and was intrigued when I saw the Scout Motors colors be just that. So I'm thinking Navy, w/orange on the truck and a reto look redish/orange...
