  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Harvester Talk: Q&A

@R1TVT this might be a good time to interject your knowledge on what a charge duration is these days. An example like this, with only 50 miles to go cant mean that you are spending the night at a charger.

    Harvester Talk: Q&A

Any concerns of overworking the batteries and possibly getting overheated while driving? You would be pushing out as well as pushing in energy to the batteries when range extender kicks in.

Integrated rooftop tent like what Ursa Minor offers for the Jeep Wrangler

Had to Google it, but pretty slick

    Post Reveal Suggestions

Not to add another mode, but you got me thinking about tailgating and the vehicle shutting off automatically every 20 minutes. A Tailgating mode that didnt shut off would be nice to avoid this issue when enjoying music.

    Ideas for Scout Engineers

Some good insight on winter conditions. Sounds like people that have had them do enjoy and prefer them.

    UWB Digital Key

A downer for anybody who will have a Terra and a Traveller

    Audio system

CCR has many hits. A great classic band. Damn, probably showing my age a bit here ?

    Buttons vs screens

Was glad to see "Pet Mode" at the reveal.

    Trail program?

I'd start with searching "OnX", "Trails", and ""Ducks". I believe the Jeep dash ducks started the conversation about digitally sharing something simular to Jeep ducks that didn't take up dash space and I want to say that conversation grew from there. ...but like you said that was a while ago...

    Audio system

I don't know about anybody else, but I plan to play this as I drive out of the South Carolina plant in 2027. This song for me will now forever be connected to the Scout Reveal! ❤️❤️❤️

Love bench seat, but it needs to fold down.

It was never folded down that I saw. Zooming in on one of my pics it is hard to tell were it would pivot with those buttons. Could be that it's just not quite finished and operational. They mentioned a few times that it's not quite complete

    Harvester Talk: Q&A

I believe he is referring mostly to the towing issues with EV's. This was one of my biggest concerns with pulling the trigger getting an EV truck. The Harvester can hopefully bridge that issue. If so, for me I still see 95% of the time for daily driving it would use just batteries. However...

    Rearview Camera Monitor

No. Neither Traveler or Terra had those cameras yet. I looked for them. Sure it's part of the fact they were 90% complete. I think that tire carrier helps place a camera where it needs to be so the tire itself is out of view. The one issue with that might be that it is positioned too far...

    Audio system

Said it in the past, but I would personally like to see JL Audio speakers. They are the go to in the boating world and sound amazing when sitting in party cove!

    Rearview Camera Monitor

Someone else mentioned this would be helpful, especially with the 35" tires taking up some of the rear view.

    Ideas for Scout Engineers

Carplay and AA are included, but it did appear to have a solid nav of its own as well. I'll be curious to see more details/teasers come out on this

[Terra] Rear bumper with integrated tire carrier

@Jamie@ScoutMotors get them to squeeze a couple more inches under the terra if this is true!!!
  18. Harris005

[Terra] Rear bumper with integrated tire carrier

Believe I read the Terra will have spare tire mount options of under bed or in bed. Under bed would be my choice.

[Terra] Heat ducts in the bed

Heat in the bed for camping mode.....I like it!
