  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Please put extender in back and give biggest frunk possible!

I agree. The new era tool box! However, I would still hope to see some compartments to shove things in so they are not always rolling around in the frunk. Examples: straps, chains, basic tools.

    Instrument Cluster

    I agree.

    Lessons Learned on Range Anxiety

I think that is where my disconnect is. It seems to me that hotels should be setting up for overnight charging, simular to home charging.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

The card option so you can put it in between your phone and phone case would be a good option.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

My preference is that the Scout app should send notifications for this

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

This is a great feature idea that Scout Motors needs to consider so cords are not dangling down the dash.

1,000+ reservations take rate stats: Harvester vs. Full-EV and Traveler vs. Terra

I would suggest to keep looking into what owning an EV would be like in your real life situations. From what I read above, this scenario works within the EV structure. Close to the end of your 300 mile journey, you charge for 15-20 minutes. Grab some last minute snacks and supplies for the...

1,000+ reservations take rate stats: Harvester vs. Full-EV and Traveler vs. Terra

Just ask them if they know what a Bronco is, then let them know the Scout came first ?

    CLOSED! Audio System Brand Poll

Would it be worth it to turn on multiple votes? I myself have a few I would like to see. Still should show which is liked the most.

    Switches and Knobs?

Drive mode is selected by the dial around the start button on the steering wheel.

    Switches and Knobs?

Can you imagine loaning out your Scout to your buddy and watching him try to find the start button up there :ROFLMAO:

    tonneau cover standard?

Something I want to get away from in my truck is the tool box. Tools usually get borrowed and never return anyway ?. My main reason is it takes up so much bed space. I was hopeful for some storage compartments within the bed to store some basic straps, etc. Not yet owning an EV I commonly...

    360 camera

@J Alynn I saw this just the other day at the grocery store. Wonder if it gets the view out far enough to make it useful when hooking up a trailer? But what if buyer doesn't choose tire carrier option . Wondering if a snap in, plug and play option fixes this dilemma. If tire carrier...

What are y'all hoping Scout Community UX™ might bring?

Love the GPS idea as well. @IdahoJOAT mentioned doing something simular to Polaris' Ride Command. The video attached in this link is a pretty cool starting point! https://scoutmotors.community.forum/threads/app-touchscreen-interaction-and-ideas.131/post-1943

What are y'all hoping Scout Community UX™ might bring?

Love this thread idea! I was excited to see the Community UX integrated. On a past post (long read sorry ? https://scoutmotors.community.forum/threads/what-kind-of-tech-do-you-expect-enabled-in-the-car-or-interface.155/post-2111 ) I had mentioned the idea of everyone riding in the Scout has...

Space saver spare in Traveler Frunk

I find myself leaning towards the Terra and was bummed to hear the 35's won't fit underneath. I personally don't want a 35" tires taking up bed space or have to use a tire carrier for everyday driving. If a space saver could still be hidden underneath, I'd sign up for that. Then when hitting...

    Rethink Steering Wheel Design?

I align with this take as well. I did like seeing the Scout logo staring back at you as you are driving. It is once again off to the right, signed like a piece of art. I also liked the start button with drive mode dial where it is at. I'll be curious to see how well the radio dial type...

    Lessons Learned on Range Anxiety

I have often wondered how the overnight charge at a hotel works....or if it works yet. 1) You limit your hotel selections trying to find ones that offer overnight charging. My wife travels a lot for work, so we are always trying to stick to Marriott's to use her points. I just checked the...
