  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Harvester- No Gas Cap

I like what our Chevy vehicles have done with removing the need for a gas cap. It's a small detail, but a nice feature when pulling up to the gas station.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

This is a good one Scout as an American made vehicle.

Blind Spot Turn Signal Camera Displayed in Instrument Cluster

Its crazy to me that I have never heard of this method. For those of you who have not also, take a minute to read that link and give it a try! After setting it up this way on my truck it got me thinking .....how can Scout do it better ? When a driver sets up his/her programed setting (seat...

    Questions about the Harvester

Non-Harvester = Larger battery with an expected 350 miles of range. Harvester model = Smaller battery to accommodate for added engine that will have an expected 150 miles on the battery, but when Harvester engine is applied it boost the expected range to 500 miles.

    Commercial Idea

I was sitting in a meeting today and looked down at my sleeve and saw the Scout "S" climbing a mountain. This could be a cool commercial with a Scout climbing the "S" and it fades into "Scout".

    Accessories Poll For Scouts

I agree with you on this. I remember taking a picture of the mats and thinking they were a nice heavy rubber mat. They also appeared to have the buttons to keep them in place. I saw the buttons in the passenger and rear floors (something my current truck doesn't have, only driver which stinks)

List ONE thing you are most ? THANKFUL ? to see that Scout Motors incorporated

Listing just one is tough! I've always been a dash guy. I'm thankful for the dash styling, colors and textures. I appreciate the nod to the original Scout II dash, while bringing in a modern touch.

what's this in bed of Terra

That was it. I remember it on that table. The picture doesn't show it, but I'm pretty sure it had a nice Scout logo on the face of it. I'd be all over traveling with that! Love sporting brand logos I like.

what's this in bed of Terra

@J Alynn do you remember seeing a suitcase at their accessories display table? I'm pretty sure they had a Scout logoed suitcase with wheels on it. Again my dang phone was worn out by that time and I didn't get any pictures. I'm guessing the suitcase connects to this molle rail system as...

    Re-think Headlight Design

I've always been in the '79 SSII round headlight/grill camp. Sometimes its hard to remember the 44 years we lost in the Scout design changing a bit each year. Chevy sure didn't stick to a round headlight. It didn't take long after the Scout rolled out at the reveal, and seeing it in person...

    Things to Avoid

Bringing this post back with the new members to chime in on issues they have had with their past vehicles so Scout Motors can avoid them. The reason I was thinking about this one again was because of my wife's car and the issue she is having with her sunroof. We bought it new in 2017, so it's...

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

But does the card have to work like that, or can it be designed to work more like a fob so it can stay in your pocket?

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

The key card that Rivian has is a good work around to this as well. It can always be in your wallet/purse, and handed to service department/valet etc. as leave. It doesn't take up any space in your front pocket like a fob would.

    Square fenders instead of rounded

? Not a fan of this idea. Original was never round. New ones look great the way they are!
