  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Are factory deliveries for reservation holders being considered?

I’d bring a professional photographer, just for social media purposes.

    Rear Seats

Hahaha. I’m the Cheer Lender (I do mortgages), and my phone auto corrects every single time. ?

    Rearview Camera Monitor

I think you may be confusing a backup camera with the rear view mirror camera. Which are relatively new to the automotive scene. But absolutely yes to the backup camera too! Those are government mandated.

    Sliding Glass Pano Roof?

I really hope they reconsider. While most people who buy appliances never use theirs, this will definitely be a lifestyle vehicle.

    Rearview Camera Monitor

Rear view mirror camera. This would definitely be a game changer. Especially with the huge spare tire, blocking the rear window.

Will Scout ever build a competitor of the Wrangler and Bronco?

Well…I think it’s important and a cornerstone of business to operate in a way that yields a profit. So it’s a wise decision to make what will sell! Also, I think the BOF design allows for a modular option. Stay tuned, let them generate some profits and maybe we will get a larger lineup with...

    Sliding Glass Pano Roof?

How about a massive sliding glass pano roof?

    Dimensions

If it is, cool. But I’m sure most of the length comes from the Full size spare tire. And if it’s that wide, we should be getting DOT regulation lighting too!

    Rear Seats

This would be cool. I was thinking adding captain chairs the rear for a 4 seater.

    Decoding Reservation Numbers

The good news is, because we are members of this forum. We get priority!

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Agreed. Such a cool and helpful feature. Also a low speed cornering lamp.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

There are some comfort creatures that I have grown to love in current cars. Adaptable headlights, rain sensing wipers, heated and ventilated seats. But one feature I love is simply being able to walk away from the car and it automatically locking. What feature would you like to see?

Are factory deliveries for reservation holders being considered?

This would be great. A memory for the ages, and it would help avoid all the dealer markup. Honestly, that’s one of the big draws for electric vehicles. None of the lame BS of having to negotiate an over inflated price with a greasy salesperson.

    Welcome and Introductions!

Hi there! I placed my reservation yesterday and I’m excited to have Scout here in Richland County. We are all holding out breath to see if the announced pricing will stick. If it does, you’re going to give 4Runners a run for their money.
