  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Audio System Brand Poll 2.0

100% correct. I really like the Harmon Kardon in my truck. The B&O in the Raptor was marginal.

    All gas

There’s a lot of truth to this! I’ve only had it happen once. I bought a Ford Raptor in March of 2020 when nothing was selling for below sticker. Then in August of 2021 when I traded the Raptor in on my TRX, I got $6,000 more than what I paid for it. It was wild!

    Jeep Recon

I don’t hate the exterior. Any interior pics or stats?

The reveal of the Scout Traveler SUV and Scout Terra truck concepts ushers in a new Scout era - Official Press Release and Photos

The problem is I’m 12 years old at heart. My TRX consistently rips off a 0-60 in 4 seconds. 702hp really screws up one’s idea of power and speed. Highway on ramps are so much fun!

The reveal of the Scout Traveler SUV and Scout Terra truck concepts ushers in a new Scout era - Official Press Release and Photos

I know this is silly, but am I the only one kind of disappointed with the 0-60 time with the Harvester?

Swore I’d never buy an EV, then Scout happened

The Rivian R1T is a nice looking truck. My buddy had one for a little while, but moved on because he didn’t love the whole EV thing. Rivian did some things right (the tunnel bag thing was genius). To me the Terra is just a better truck. I like that it’s bigger and more aggressive.

Swore I’d never buy an EV, then Scout happened

The Terra to me looks like the Rivian’s bigger brother. I like the Rivian, but it feels to “Yuppie” to me. Scout has all the creature comforts, but real toggle switches and off road goodies that I want.

    Scout EV Forum - Scout Reservation Tracker & Stats ? ? *

I find it interesting that the Harvester package is that much more popular. I wonder if Scout anticipated that?

    The future of electric vehicles

That’s pretty much how I feel too. I’d take a 10% discount happily, but ultimately it’s the product I’m interested in.

It was about time they picked in this forum. You guys handled it pretty quickly!

    onX Offroad

I use onX off-road a lot with Apple Car Play in my truck. It’s a cool app!

    Future Opportunities

I check the employment section at Scout about once a week. I keep thinking my background in sales and management may be applicable some day. Just hoping living in Montana won’t be an issue. Scout seems to be in the right track, and it would be cool to be a part of it!

How Will Scout Keep Its Momentum Until 2027?

I’ve thought this myself. I threw $100 down the day of the review out of pure excitement, like a lot of us did. I joined the forum that same day, so I’m still very new to Scout (I have zero history attaching me to Scouts of the past). I like vehicles that are practical and affordable, but they...

    All gas

What about a 700hp Supercharged V8? Any chance there? I’m just kidding! But I’d still take one if Scout changed their mind. Just saying…

    All gas

I'm pretty much a ICE guy as well (currently drive a Ram TRX - it doesn't get much more gas piggy than that). With that said, I have a reservation for the Scout Traveler with the Harvester Gas Extended Option. This to me will be a great option. I can do the EV thing for my daily commute, and...

    Analog Scout?

I’ll be the first to admit I’d prefer a 700hp Supercharged Hellcat under the hood of the Scout, but I’m a little biased to that platform. That said, I’m cautious optimistic and excited about the Harvester from Scout. You’re list is pretty interesting, but like others said, probably expensive...

    Sound suppression

Like others have said, a lot depends on the tire choice. After 36,000 miles I was happy to replace the factory Goodyear Territory All Terrain for a set of General Grabber A/Tx’s in the factory size. The Goodyear was a hybrid Mud and A/T combo (sort of), and while it performed well, my god was it...

    Ideas for Harvester

One big ding against a diesel setup that folks haven’t mentioned is the diesel pump itself. More times than not a diesel pump is a dirty nasty mess. The last thing I want is to have to pack disposable rubber gloves with me all the time (diesel fuel stinks). The next time you get gas take a...
