  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Accessories Poll For Scouts

Not to rain on your parade but this has been discussed extensively on the forum and the general science of it says you’ll never get but a few miles of range and the cost of a tonneau along with damage risk doesn’t make for a convincing product based on what costs would be. I’m all for it and...

Scout concepts on Jay Leno’s Garage

I don’t disagree and the concern has been expressed and Jamie has asked people to hang on until more info is available. The concern is recognized and I’m sure Jamie gets it but it’s been acknowledged and they recognize it’s a concern. Like beating a dead horse in a way. If you kid asks for ice...

How about a road trip along the oil/gas pipelines. That would be funny having a bunch of EVs. I’ll get my in-laws to put you up just outside of Circle. ?

    Girl Scout Cookies

I think SM should go one further and utilize their property/grounds to offer other badge related events. “Scouts for Scouts”. Is there still a Scout Jamboree? That would piss off the hard core Jeepers ?

Scout concepts on Jay Leno’s Garage

Not to lose my S$#*-as I promised to do better but Jamie has said 2 or 3 times now to wait until final numbers are in. I vote for Jamie to shut this thread down and all other related to towing until final towing capacities are announced then open the flood gates for better or worse.

Love the idea. Not a fan of the cookies but it’s a great idea. Also use it to promote women in STE(A)M careers

The gas tank needs to be bigger on the Harvester models

Don’t be silly-the V8 goes in the frunk. Granted there will be a LARGE hood bump so it fits but its design looks cool. They are going old school Mitsubishi eclipse with the hood bulge on just the passenger side (in matte black obviously). In that case they are making a 46 gallon tank (in red)...
