  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

They should just sell the half baked flavor with a cloud of smoke rolling out and Cheech and Chong

NOPE. Still not my shade of pink. But I do dig the Tuscadero from Jeep. It’s intense in the best way

    Poll: Current EV Owner?

Add hybrid please. Would be a good indicator of people like me making the slow change over. Thanks

    Driving Distance Poll

Wow. I was in Quebec for first time last fall. We flew and discussed driving but wow, now I know what it takes from Lancaster to Quebec. Would you drive a pure EV there and back?

Scout concepts on Jay Leno’s Garage

I completely get where you are coming from and being an architectural designer I’ve suffered the same similar situations. I designed/built my own house nearly 20 years ago and put it into a parade of homes event. It’s tough to stand in your dream home and hear people criticize many things. We...

    Driving Distance Poll

Daily is 8 miles RT. Once a month I judge and can be 12 miles RT or 90 miles RT. Most weekends we run errands in my wife’s SUV. If I take over those with EV I’d say we put on maybe 60-70 on a relatively busy weekend and sometimes 250 miles-depends on the weekend. Based on that 350 mile range is...

Are factory deliveries for reservation holders being considered?

Had another idea but will preface it for SM members only who take factory delivery. I’ll also say I’d probably pay for it. If there is a way to produce laser engraved (or similar) vanity plates, say one of the Scout colors with our Avatar name. Getting an email of my scout coming off the line...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I saw this a few weeks ago and sent to my daughter since we got rid of her Bronco (per her request and our issues). That said-I’d drive a tuscadero pink Jeep but not this, I’m not a light pink kind of guy-however, my daughter went nuts over this (which surprised me). This is the kind of play...

I agree. Always liked Jeep’s naming of colors-tongue in cheek approach. I will say I’d prefer the exterior/interior combo as only fixed item. Maybe a wheel color too. I don’t care for having to get $5K in extras just to get a color but I do like how Jeep changes it up.

    Carpet floor mats

Being in the design industry I used to order cool patterned carpet samples then I’d cut them to fit. Was cheap (on my part-I know I took advantage of suppliers sending 4 pieces per sample order ) but I always got compliments. Then after a couple of years I’d toss them and make new ones.

Based on modern day paint formulas and bonding it could be possible they can’t replicate exactly. That said I would think getting super close would still work. I think it would be cool to introduce a vintage color (unique from today’s colors) and offer limited edition with modified interiors to...

    Scout Color Poll #1

Yes. I’d say it’s about 65-70% blue mixed with charcoal and done with a luster finish. It reads blue but very balanced with the gray. As luster looks go it’s probably one of the best shades I’ve seen on a vehicle

    Scout Color Poll #1

I keep thinking a good metallic gray (maybe warmer gray for a change) would look really good but I’ve said-I’ve had so many grays (currently gray with a touch of cool blue) I just need a change of pace but met gray with dark Ralleye strips and black roof would look really good

    Paddle Shifters For Adjusting Regen

I really like the paddle shifters in our Pilot as well as did I like them in our previous Acura MDX

    Optional Third Row

I’d say hold out a few years and presume a travelall will be shortly behind the launch vehicles ?

    Optional Third Row

As of now there isn’t an intent to offer a third row-it would be VERY tight. That said, there’s been multiple hints that the next model in line up may be a 3-row-and likely go by the Travelall name
