  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Harvester generator gas and not diesel

I’ve always said there should be a front page that requires new members to promise to use the search button before posting ?. That said, I’ve been on since day 4 or 5 (I think) so at some point everyone on here has been a “newbie” to me ? Woooo-Saaaaa!!!

Harvester generator gas and not diesel

I think this is just a topic people are tired of hearing about since it’s been stated no diesel. Like talking about removable roof when that was defined a year ago or more ?

Speculation Alert - possible Harvester Engine Choices

    Sunglass holder

It really is cool but I still wonder how one looks at it and where the orientation is. I think it’s cool just for looks but leaning over the middle of the center console and looking up may be a challenge.

Just a reminder Jamie pretty much said NO diesel. But I think someone should buy one then convert it to a diesel engine. Just for more talking points in the future

Scout Stories: Stoke Models Builds a One-off Scout II

Agreed. I still have a 1:20(“ (I think) of the early Porsche Boxsters and it sits in my office as a reminder of my midlife crisis car (I’m now -almost 52) and looks like the Scout is gonna be my mid-lifer ?

You think if we start calling him Benj he might make an appearance on the forum ?

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

My Accord has break hold which is similar to not bad on a low hill but I’d never trust it on an incline over 20 degrees. But that’s me

Speculation Alert - possible Harvester Engine Choices

Remember though that the batteries fill at a disproportionate rate so you do need longer charge time to allow the slowing of charge as the battery fills

    Lego Kit

Agree but to mock it up you have to use Lego colors that are available in a wide array of shapes and sizes so that limits the body color a bit. Maybe a white or green or yellow would certainly work

    3rd Row Option!

There was lots of hopeful conversations about this at the reveal. Seems SM wants to do it but has to establish themselves on money makers first. We can only hope
