  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Speculation Alert - possible Harvester Engine Choices

Like 50 seconds. I used it’s think and deep search options. And then make it revise and put both together, and that’s what it came up with.

Harvester generator gas and not diesel

I’ve never been a huge fan of community forums, and I was following scout since they launched. I just only joined in last summer just to check out the forum and now I’m a permanent resident here lmfao. Also I agree with that first statement massively, I know I’ve been here for close to a year...

Why did you have to bring the removable top up lol.

    Sunglass holder

Nah, that’s why you have to have a dedicated PaceNotes reader, so they can look at it. Honestly though I think it’s not gonna be too bad once everyone test drives one, since remember that seating position is like a truck, so it’s higher up so it might be in peripheral vision

Harvester generator gas and not diesel

OG Scout community members, why do New comers always have to start fights and stuff thats not needed? Its like they know more than all of us that have searched this forum up and down at least a thousand times.

But it saves a bunch of space with the built in exhaust manifold in the cylinder head.

Harvester generator gas and not diesel

It’s not gonna happen between VW diesel gate, and the amount of space all the DEF and EGR systems need it’s in reasonable. Along with that every time Harvester is brought up the word Gas is involved meaning Gasoline.

I suggest getting a German Engineer for this. Or get a really good young Engineer with ambitions from the US.

Obviously. Stuff i knew, but thanks for putting into text.

The VW ID. Every1 Will Be One Of VW’s First Model To Implement Rivian’s Software In Europe.

Proof that Scout is actually independent for VW. Tell that to the NADA! Scout has a completely custom-made OS on the UX, not a slightly modified Rivian software. VW and Rivian's software is almost a duplicate of each other now with the JV.

Micro Nuclear Fully Modular Nuclear System. I know some people would rather Solar being utilized, but this is still going to be a HUGE part for infrastructure build up. And they take up a lot less space compared to the Nuclear Reactors you see when driving around if you have any near you...
