  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

I saw rumors the DS Automobiles, Chrysler, Maserati and Lancia could be getting shut down since they have the least income and they are expensive to run. I don’t know how true it is. But when Chrysler sells one Minivan thats a good year for them, since i rarely see them anymore.

    This one?

    Traveler without rear tire carrier

Black lights are a must they look so good. I think it would be really difficult to look at with clear red plastic. And it looks like the whole lighting scheme is worked into with the body design.

    Built-in hydraulic or electric jacks

Best style is something that locks into a hole or any shape so that it makes it harder to slide off.

Do You Think That EV SUV's and Trucks Have Evolved?

Nvm, lol. I guess it’s Body on Frame. All the press statements I found was it was unibody. Not like it will ever change my mind on RAM trucks and the quality, they will always suck imo.

I know some might be upset with Scout Harvester having a slightly lower towing capacity than full EV. But, I found the ugly truth about the RAM Charger, its unibody construction using the STLA Large Platform Chassis. https://www.motortrend.com/news/ram-rollout-rev-ramcharger-dakota-replacement/

    Traveler without rear tire carrier

So what does everyone think now seeing it with out the tire carrier. Should the wiper be mounted at the top tucked under the overhang/duck spoiler, or should it be at the bottom like almost every single SUV on the market has? Personally i think it should be at the top, giving it the clean look...

My guess is possibly. But the lower tailgate and right side taillight might need to be changed.

    Scout Security System?

I would like to see a built in tracker from Factory. All the cameras involved to work with the security system. An alarm system, or a passive system like what Most BMW have. They work like this: passive "anti-theft" system that disables the car unless the ISN (individual serial number) assigned...
