Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

    Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy.     My only concern with a stripped down basic trim, is if that is what the $60k price point starts at, then it's going to quickly go above $100k to get a fully loaded version. I'm really hoping that the base trim still has heated front seats and steering wheel at a minimum, and full app integration...

    What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

    Im sure it’ll have remote start, probably from an app as well as or instead of a key I would think. No chance of manual transmission since it is electric drivetrain.

    It is, he is a Giant Schnauzer. My avatar before was just the default “C”. We used to have a Mini Schnauzer cross with a Westie (a Wauzer) but she passed away at the end of last year. I know, they must be the official Scout dog.

    This doesn’t surprise me, especially in the short term as otherwise no one who was eligible for the tax credits would buy one in the next few months. I assume most people would have already bought/leased before they expired or are not planning to buy within the next year.

    Nice truck! I wish I could make a F150 Lightning work for a couple of years to get me through to the Scout. For the charger you could always look at the Tesla Universal Connector to get both plugs on one wall connector.

    Just to clarify, I meant all the driver assistance, lane departure warning, collision warning etc. can be turned off, not the reverse noise.

    Driver settings memory

    I'm hopeful for individual profiles that it will save all this for, whether that's through detecting the persons phone or just selecting the profile on the screen when you get in. I'd love if they could have adjustable pedals with memory as well.
