Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy.     Package options - what would you like bundled?

    Do you have power mirrors? Or do you have to manually adjust them? That would tell you whether there's a power wire run in there. I would doubt it on a Wrangler though as it would complicate going doorless. I know they have the quick connect wires now for the power locks and windows, but mirrors...

    What would your last vehicle be if you had to decide today

    Thank you much. I bought it when I was 24 (43 now). It was my daily for 10 years and has had fun car status since then. A little over 77k miles. I've gone back and forth with selling it over the years, but my kids are now 10 and 7 and they both love it so it isn't going anywhere.

    I really appreciate the in depth reply. I guess simple answer says probably not worth it. I'm only talking about 1-3 trips per year and then the generator could have worked as a backup for the house. That reply also puts in to perspective just how big the batteries in these vehicles are.

    I already own it, though it would need some work to be reliable as a daily again after 19 years. 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon that I bought new.

    Headrests is one of those things that can ruin a perfectly comfortable seat. My Grand Cherokee headrest is adjustable up and down, but not forward and rearward. Luckily, they positioned it well. My Pacifica can adjust in every direction. I find that I adjust it more than I'd have expected to...

    I'm fully expecting the way I'll option the Traveler to cost $85k +/- $5k. I priced out a Rivian at one point and my options quickly priced it over $95k. I think what I really wanted was around $105k. Above $85 and I'm definitely out. I'm probably still out at $80k. I just can't wrap my head...
