  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Back To Baja 2025 - The Documentary

I like this documentary a lot! Glad the gents are safe and sound after that crazy roll over. Prayers to them for sure! I would love to see them do this all again in a new scout. Traveler or Terra with the harvester range extender! Or I will just volunteer myself to do it with them in a new one...

What one thing would you like to see changed from concept to production?

hahaha this made me laugh! I love it! I find myself driving with a cup in my right hand as well! Gotta have some coffee in the AM for the commute!

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I would love to be a part of this too even though I am a new Scout member

How would you build your Scout?

Torn between either the Traveler or the Terra. - Dark Grey or White exterior - Red Leather interior - Hemp wood or the aluminum lookin trim around inside - Glass Roof - Pano sunroof hopefully - Black rims - 18" or 20" - Off Road package - Coil Springs for me No air suspension - Harvester option

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I would love to see Red Leather seats as an option. A dark grey exterior and red leather seats with black or white stitching would be sick!! Don't really see that much now days. Or a Blue leather option. Navy or Royal. Maybe! I think that would be pretty sick!

    Scout Motors at Harvester Homecoming?

I am not supposed to assume but for fun, I would assume they have AT LEAST 2 of each!!?? If not 3?? There's no way they have been showing these off for awhile now and there is only 1 of each "production intended" vehicles? One would have to assume that they are progressing to almost having a...

    Scout Motors at Harvester Homecoming?

That is tough!! I mean you are trying to convince us you don't have more than 1 "concept" model of each?!?!?! LOLOLOL
  12. C

    Scout! Hear me out!

That is a good question! I would assume you lose some sort of cargo capacity in the Traveler and some interior space in the Terra? haha I am no engineer but the thought makes sense!!

Bigger Gas Tank - 15 Gallons is Abysmal

I agree! I really hope they use a bigger gas tank starting out. 15 gallons is just ridiculously low for the size of vehicles they are producing alone. That doesn't even address the road trips and or towing a trailer as you mentioned. Scout NEEDS to have a larger gas tank period.

    Scout! Hear me out!

Thank you for sharing! I agree. 350 for range for certain families and people could work and is probably pretty doable. Personally we drive A LOT and all the adventurous stuff we do is a nice jaunt from the city. And that doesn't include the mountain ranges and hills we have to climb most of the...

    Scout! Hear me out!

Thank you for sharing the efficiency note! I am sure that part is very important for some shoppers. Personally overall effective range is what I need for my day to day stuff. Having the ability to go 650 or more miles on one tank of gas is really convenient right now. Especially with prices on...

What one thing would you like to see changed from concept to production?

Maybe not with that option but if you don't get the bench seat then you could option that. Maybe. I am no engineer haha

What one thing would you like to see changed from concept to production?

I would suggest definitely put the gear shifter in the middle of the vehicle. Or at least have an option for the console shifter. I personally like these shifters better than the little electronic steering wheel mounted shifter. Give people the option to have either. If Scout is about choice and...

    Scout! Hear me out!

It would not change my mind if they leave the shifter where it is! Just something to get used to!

    Scout! Hear me out!

Others won't. I don't mind the EREV concept. I put one down for the Traveler. I am just saying having options never hurt anybody. Right now I have a hybrid F150 and get about 650-735 miles on one tank of gas. I cannot afford to the little range that EV vehicles offer.
