  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Want a Scout. Don't want the Drama!

It's understandable to be skeptical about the Scout's potential for success, especially given the challenges you're highlighting. However, several aspects could indicate a different outcome: Community Engagement: While utilizing forums for feature decisions may seem unconventional, it fosters a...

    Scout Supply Merchandise Live

When you first go to the Scout supply no hats appear. I then selected View All Products and three hats showed up in the offering. Try that. two on page two.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I would like to think people are smarter than to buy that crap. Let them rot on the dealer lots.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

For myself I like my vehicles more like a "Reserve" level with nice features. Built in NAV always gets thrown in in those upper trim levels, like it or not.

Compact model. YES! But, I prefer that they make it more like the old 2 door 80.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

We ordered my wife's 2022 (First year) Maverick Hybrid on day one of ordering. At that time we already knew it would be a long wait. It took 14 months to arrive. Ford built them by order date. We even got emails showing the weekly build mix, Hybrid and ICE, as well as information on our specific...

    Luxury EV

To me the Scout looks very Luxurious. Luxurious doe's not make it any less capable! This coming from someone who has always driven Lincolns.

If you have a priced D.O.R.A and V.O.C for an EV they are going to build it. I can't imagine them deciding to only build EREV the first year. I sure hope they don't.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I agree whole heartedly. I must admit I have never used the built in navigation or updated the maps on my Lincolns, and would never pay to do so. As long as it stays free I just use standard wireless Apple CarPlay.

The iX3 has been on my EV list for some time. Of course the Scout Traveler is still number one on that list.
