    Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

    I agree. I think some complaints I hear with cars especially with removable tops or in this case a cabana top say the sound really gets lost. I think the hummer ev tried to mitigate that with there setup and it balancing when roof was off and windows were down but do not hear good reviews on that.

    Good information. I am confident they will fine tune towing capacity. Even 7500 is a good number. Trailers and such that size accommodate more family living in my opinion. @Jamie@ScoutMotors

    What trim levels would you like to see at launch?

    I know the trim at showing is not the 60k trim but I sure how it does not get overly expensive. I like the outlets, roof open, 10k towing and hope for good audio system. The interior is nice but can go without if need be.

    Hopefully we get some updates soon. I almost wish CEO did not put the 5k number in the air without numbers being finalized. Has led to speculation now.

    I find this difficult to believe. The presence of a workshop is necessary…..only so much mobile work you can do without a home base.

    I believe that is a plan that should be presented first or very early in process. Any manufacturer is this way. I do believe they have a plan and will be presented. It’s just opposite process then anything I have ever heard.

    I just had a chat and was told that 80 percent of services would be done remotely. When I asked about other 20 percent for things that cannot be done remotely I was told they did not have that information. This is very alarming and a detail that should have been thought out. I cannot imagine...

    Hopefully that won’t drive up price much. Curious how they will adjust pricing when the ev tax credit is gone? Not so much an “if” at this point.

    I am just hoping the the retractable roof and interior and Audio wont drive base price up to much. Those are my key points. The harvester models are also on the table if price is right

    Hopefully the ones on stage were the base models or ones advertised as price on website. I really like the interior and hope they keep it same across board like Rivian does. The roof and audio system I would be willing to pay a little extra for.

    Do we think Terra/traveler harvester will be cheaper or roughly same price as full EV? I read smaller battery pack could drive cost down. Thoughts?

    Says production 2027 do we anticipate deliveries happening in 2027? Will this be a 2027 model or 2028.

    Strongly actually is not “aggressive” it simply implies a “firm” suggestion. It would be aggressive if used in bold or use characters such as an exclamation point…etc. I would not read to much into that. I do believe however if information is not concrete it should not be shared with public.

    This is based off numerous people who said this was a deal breaker both on this group and Facebook. I obviously cannot confirm 100 percent the follow through was there but is is concerning none the less.
