  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Thanksgiving Recipes

I have a recipe that came from the owner of the IH/Case company my dad worked at for years and years. The owner would make enough of these to hand out to every employee at Thanksgiving and Christmas and it was always my favorite way to eat turkey. Mr. Brook's Turkey However many turkey breasts...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Ah - I messed up! Deductions vs credits... so I found this Jonathan Smoke, chief economist at automotive services and technology provider Cox Automotive, and his team reportedly analyzed the proposed auto loan interest deduction. They found that if the average car owner pays $2,000 in interest...

If it’s 0% financing then there is no interest to deduct so it comes out to the same thing if the annual interest is below $10k, right?

What's it like to take a road trip in a truck like the Terra (F-150 Lightning)?

if you go to the Museum of Science and Industry, I hope they still have the fighter simulators. I went a few years ago for Pittcon and they let us do those and it was amazing. I am NOT a pilot and my gunner was not a gunner so we gave up on trying to shoot down anyone and just did continuous...

    What was your first car?

In his opinion, I didn't give him a lot of reasonable options on my wishlist - Suzuki Sidekick, Suzuki Samurai, or a 1966 Mustang convertible (Candy Apple Red of course). I ended up with a 1984 Chevy Cavalier bought at a surplus auction from Duke Energy. But it drove and I didn't have to pay for...

Seems like Scouts community hub got hacked!

I’d sure love it if there wasn’t a 20+ second cooldown between allowed reports. That’s just plain annoying

I tried reporting spam but it will only let you report it so fast - there’s a cool down time for some reason. They were posting faster than I could report

What feature(s) do you hope that Scout does NOT include?

My dad collects those (and all the other sizes too) - a bit more expensive than the ducks!

What do we think is going to happen on the 24th of October?

Somehow they managed to exempt the EPA until this week. Furlough notices were sent to most people here on Monday. My group is still exempt for now but everyone jumps a little when the email dings. Fingers crossed for us all
