  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Site question that I don’t know where to post

If you click on 'registry' and then 'new items' it will show you the ones you haven't looked at. Once you have looked at everyone's cars, the number will go away

Taking bets on the new color of the Traveler Concept to be seen soon...

Same!! I loved the little mini coopers and all the colors they came in and the different color tops. It was so cool and fun to see. But I couldn’t fit everything I needed to in them. When I saw the red Flex with the white roof my first thought was “it’s a mini cooper on steroids!” I had to have it

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I can read much faster than I can hear. I have auditory processing issues so my brain registers what’s being said about a half second or so too late so after a while, it gives up 😂 I loved my classes that were asynchronous because I could rewind as often as I needed but text was still so much...

    Hey Lady Scouts!!

When I was a kid I wanted a Suzuki Sidekick or Samurai so bad and my dad said absolutely not. They definitely earned the nicknames Sideflip and Somersault

What one thing would you like to see changed from concept to production?

oh! I definitely didn't mean you were confrontational- it was the original statement by rfk and his change to "accommodate the sensitive" folks that were confrontational. I was just trying to bring up what he was saying without all the emotions he put in it so that it could be addressed. I...

What one thing would you like to see changed from concept to production?

I wasn't expecting them to repeatedly modify the concept vehicles to match production either. I was just trying to restate what I thought he was saying in a less confrontational manner. Seems like there was concern over whether the changes to the production models are in the 15% that already...

What one thing would you like to see changed from concept to production?

I think his unfortunately phrased concern was about this part The revamp of the models are unfortunately not reflective of the production models. There are certain changes in the production models that would be too costly to show in these models. It makes it sound like there have been...

I think it is really cute but overpriced. The first picture reminds me of the Suzuki Sidekicks (which I absolutely don't see a "sultry detective" driving - the wind will mess up their hair!)

    Terra - Roof Top Option

this is what the roof of my car looks like- the small one opens and the big one doesn't. I've been through some nasty hailstorms and it made it through ok (the sound was terrifying though, I'll be honest)

What will you typical cargo look like in your Scout?

I went and measured- if an 8 foot 2x4 is up against the tailgate, it comes about 21 inches from the dashboard. I got it because I used to do craft and jewelry shows and had to be able to carry around 8 ft tables for my booth. It has been awesome.

What will you typical cargo look like in your Scout?

They aren't that different in size. The Flex is 201 inches long and the Scout is 190 (no info on the inside dimensions though). If I can lay the front passenger seat down still (and the ones in back too), then I will probably still be able to fit most everything I need to carry. I don't get the...

What will you typical cargo look like in your Scout?

today I got a bunch of 8 foot 2x4s and it is very nice being able to fit them in the Flex easily. I have found I can even get 10 foot ones in if I lay down the front passenger seat and angle them. Definitely want to be able to do that in the Scout!

I saw that too. No brake lights but I don’t know if that’s because the car was malfunctioning or because he wasn’t trying anymore. Several people seemed to think it was either him panicking and using the accelerator instead of the brake or it was a scam which seems absolutely nuts to me. I’m...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Three thoughts here 1) how does the interior conquer terrain? 2) that vibration mode is going to be used for a lot more than shaking off sand 3) how is it considered all-terrain? Maybe if it flies…
