  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Test drove a couple Wranglers today…

I wish I could say I am shocked at your terrible dealership experience, but alas I don’t have an ounce of surprise in me. I’ve had so many similar experiences at dealerships. My experience with a Wrangler 4XE has been completely different. Fantastic vehicle.

What would your last vehicle be if you had to decide today

How awesome, I love it!! That makes it a thousand times better when the kids love it.

One feature that made you pull the the trigger on a reservation….

Definitely a fair assessment. I wondered if that might be the case. Thanks.

One feature that made you pull the the trigger on a reservation….

We do a ton of research beforehand as well and the R2 and Traveler are in the mix. May I ask why the Recon is not on your list? I just want to make sure there are not things about it I may have missed. Thanks.

One feature that made you pull the the trigger on a reservation….

Dang…I don’t know how I was reading the question initially, but if I think about it further - your number 3 is definitely my number 1. We’re out on dirt and rocks nearly every weekend. So, I guess if I had a top 3 it would be: 1. True off-road chops 2. Harvester 3. Direct to Consumer

    Ranking current known colors

    Haha, thank you!

    Ranking current known colors

I’ll go silver mostly because I know nobody else will pick it . Also because it hides trail pinstriping quite well. I love a good metallic silver or pearl silver. The reveal Traveler color is fantastic though.

One feature that made you pull the the trigger on a reservation….

I have to agree that being able to avoid dealerships is a big deal for me as well. A huge deal, really.

Switching Harvester to All EV Model?

I still have no reason to move away from the Harvester. Until range numbers advance higher, full electric just doesn’t make sense for the ways I use my vehicle. It also doesn’t make sense for those of us in areas with limited infrastructure. If this were just a commuter, yeah it’d make sense...

I didn’t even think of that! :ROFLMAO:

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Agreed. It’s pretty dang cool. I know there are millions that would label it absolute sacrilege though. I’d love to go charge in that thing just to see the look on people’s faces when you go to plug it in.

    Luxury Pacific Mist

I want ALL the choices so that I can build my ultimate Scout. However, I worry about driving up production costs because as I’ve said before - even at the presented price points we are above my budget. On the flip side, maybe if there were enough choices I could pick and choose to build a...

Scout Terra Debuts in New Silo Color and Retheme

I find those side-of-the-dash grab handles on the Bronco to be much less helpful than A pillar grab handles, if I’m honest. They’re still a bit awkward even after using them for a very long time.
