    Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

    I’m happy to see others have no issue with a $65k-$90K vehicle as that will help Scout succeed. For me and mine, $60k is a lot to consider spending on a vehicle. I love cars and trucks of a very wide variety and always have, but the prices are fully unhinged in many cases. $60k out the door...

    I was going to say basically the same thing. A pearl white can be nice. They used to put a pearl white on the gen 1 Mazdaspeed3 that looked very good. Underrated car, by the way.

    The “or” is the key word in that answer. Separate the statement before and the statement after the word “or”. They are two different setups completely. Not the same battery in both. I can understand the confusion for sure though.

    I’ll wait and see how it all shakes out to decide, but I will most likely avoid air suspension. Chances are a non air suspension option will serve me better off road and may allow me to do my own maintenance and possibly even install a basic lift kit on my own. If nothing else, it seems...

    Window tint would be nice, I agree. I don’t see that happening for many reasons unfortunately. I’d definitely prefer to have Scout apply mine, but I don’t believe it’ll be offered unless I’ve missed some sort of announcement.

    This is actually a big topic for me as well because I know with 100% certainty the closest Scout repair facility would be built 3 or more hours from me. If I get lucky it’ll only be 3 hours away…if they pick a different metropolitan area to plop the closest facility, it could be a lot worse...
