  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Factory Pick Up - Cost and what does it include?

Good point. And don’t forget to align it so you don’t forget to do it. That was one thing we goofed on when we bought out of state. Forgot about that

    Off-topic stuff…

I certainly didn’t know but next time I’m in NYC I’m having cousins meet there and have a drink. Probably coming in by train anyway so why not take advantage. What an amazing space

    Off-topic stuff…

How so? I’m not seeing pros or cons but wondering. I figure some of it is posturing toward us to show they don’t need US imports but if they reduce tariffs and Canadians are more open to EVs it gives them solid options beyond US. Unless of course 2 years after screwing is the Chinese jack up...

    Off-topic stuff…

Was she involved with it or just talked your way in? It is a beautiful piece of architecture and grateful it wasn’t destroyed before Ford committed to restoring it.

Scout’s at Barrett Jackson, Scottsdale 2026

On those roads a proper bronze-gold would hide dirt as well. Then you’d have a couple choices

    Jeep Recon

That’s not to shabby. Not he’ll ate power but not shabby at all

    Chicago Auto Show 2026

100% on point. We were told at reveal they ship them in refrigerated truck so they don’t overheat, sag, melt, come unglued, etc. I wouldn’t let anyone touch my Ferrari (like I actually could afford one) and certainly not the Scout. I literally had to beg in NYC to sit and only because Jamie...

    Chicago Auto Show 2026

I kinda agree and also disagree. Scout wants to spread the word to the public and not just car people. Those of us here will travel to likely any event if close and gives us opportunity to see it. General public is different. If you are going to a large show you are generally a car enthusiast...

    Jeep Recon

That’s a great color. Sorta feels like reveal terra but non-matte finish. I’d take a traveler in that color and finish

Consumer Freedom and Scout Motors in South Carolina

I’ve done Simonize once or twice but it was same dealer and they knocked the price by over 60% and I know they still made money but what a joke. I liked the simonize as it did keep my cars looking cleaner and less car washes needed

Spectacular Reno. I remember when they announced that and I was thrilled. My focus in college for architecture was adaptive reuse and this exemplifies that in every manner. What a showpiece

    That is nice

Consumer Freedom and Scout Motors in South Carolina

Only time we ever did this was my Audi due to the low profile tires and the rims being like $800 each. I think we paid like $950 but with all the potholes in PA I wasn’t risking it. But we debated it heavily

Consumer Freedom and Scout Motors in South Carolina

It’s like car managers and sales people don’t realize we have the internet to do research. The whole I dustry needs to change their sales approach. It’s antiquated by at least 15 years

    Jeep Recon

    No pics?

Scout’s at Barrett Jackson, Scottsdale 2026

My wife’s pilot is white and my last was pearl white-which looked awesome on my Acura but I’m done with white for a long time

Scout’s at Barrett Jackson, Scottsdale 2026

Makes sense in a hot climate like Florida

Are you OK with Scout vehicles starting under $60K?

Sorry I wasn’t clear. This was the slide at reveal

Are you OK with Scout vehicles starting under $60K?

I like your thinking but during presentation on reveal weekend they showed charts that they would be profitable year one. Now that may imply they aren’t losing money on vehicles but your logic based on some quick math seems plausible.
