Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy.     If it’s similar to Rivian and GM, your right stalk up and down will be your forward and reverse pulling it to you will be neutral and pressing the button on the end will be park.     The Rivian EDVs have the same amount of controls on left stalk. Though your wipers and lights are automatic unless you changed them to manual so for the most part, you’re only using it for turn signals.

    It does, we’ve walked out to grab something from the freezer or toolbox and it occasionally it will just power up for 1-3 minutes. In terms of daily use the engine might get used once a week while being driven home.

    our volt rarely runs on gas, but very few days it cycles the engine while siting in the garage, I imagine scout and other ERVEs will do something similar, but when it kicks on it could also just be feeding the battery for a few minutes at a time

    From my understanding Lego usually scales around 1:12-1:14 scale but that would be an awesome shelf piece! We have a wrangler and 911 Turbo but with light kits so I can’t really move them others would have included them in the scale comparisons
