  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

    What’s your hobby

The ride was success. Around 150 miles round trip. No broken bikes. However, as soon as I got home everything started to hurt. Definitely a wake up call to how out of shape I am 😂

    What’s your hobby

Motorcycles used to be a big part of my life until I was hit by a texting driver a few years ago. I am very passionate about Enduro riding and it brings me peace like nothing else can. Got a new bike last weekend. I’m stoked! So far I’ve ridden it every day since I got it. This morning I am...

These are rad. They look like something you’d see in a Wess Anderson movie.

Poll- What have you Reserved... Let's get a small idea of the take rates.

We are going to have a race to see who can max out the amount of saved builds 😂

@Jamie@ScoutMotors said they are going to roll out a "Visualizer" tool before we get a Scout Configurator so we will be able to spend a few months building various models with colors, options and accessories before its Go Time. Then once we are invited to place our orders we will be able to see...

    Off-topic stuff…

Typically a right rear tire wears the fastest because that’s your pivot tire when merging into roads. So if they have aggressive camber it is likely that that tire wearing faster than the others. But if an inner band is down to the wear bar there is no undoing that and it would need to be...

The Garage (What did you work on today?)

You’re on the right track, and the window will be soon too. Love seeing people handle their own problems like this. 👊🏽 You can try wrapping an arrow or dowel rod in some duct tape and jamming it around in there to pick up any remains ceramic giblets. Not sure if water will flush them all out...

The Garage (What did you work on today?)

As Jerryrigeverything says “Glass is glass, and glass breaks.” Glad you are okay man. The shopvac will be the real MVP here. If you leave just a few pieces in there it will drive you nuts as they rattle around in there. That sucks though. Sometimes glass breaks on its own from a defect...

The Garage (What did you work on today?)

Dang it I didnt realize my photos were too big for thumbnails! I slapped a 2nd skin bandage on there after it opened up. Its now a Thunderdome for my white blood cells. I think moments like that are when ADHD is a super power. I thrive in a crisis. It really is when people spend a majority...

The Garage (What did you work on today?)

The low beam on my new Husqvarna is downright dangerous. Just a regular old halogen bulb in a large reflector. Just enough components there to say “it has a headlight”. The evening after I got it I rode it to a wedding, and the ride back was pretty sketchy. I could see maybe 20ft in front of me...

    Off-topic stuff…

Growing up I had neighbors with dirt bikes but my parents forbade me from ever riding or owning one. The Long Way Round is what inspired me, and I always gravitated to off-roading so a GS1200 was my dream bike, and I romanticized traveling across the world on two wheels. But doing those trips...

Have you tried Miss Go Electric's Channel? I really enjoy her weekly The Current EV news updates. She goes right to the information and is very professional. She also advocates for electrification and has some great educational content.
