  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

What trim levels would you like to see at launch?

And this could be the "Livestock trim".

What trim levels would you like to see at launch?

And this would be the "Horse trim".

What trim levels would you like to see at launch?

Since everything has been farm themed so far, they could call it this the "Barn trim".

We own EVs. Ask Us Anything.

Too bad the space under the floor of the frunk of the F150 does not go all the way to the back of the frunk. It looks like the extra height that would give you is exactly what you need to fit that chest, and since the chest opens from the top you would need to worry about the front being below...

What is the "Scout Supply gear bench"?

Thanks for the clarification @Jamie@ScoutMotors .

What goodies have you gotten from a dealer/manufacturer after purchasing a car

A NACS to CCS adapter so I can use the Tesla chargers on my 2024 Ioniq 5.

What is the "Scout Supply gear bench"?

In the Scout Terra Debuts in New Silo Color and Retheme thread, @Jamie@ScoutMotors listed several new things that have been added to the Terra. One of the items on the list was a "Scout Supply gear bench". I did not see anything in the pictures that looked like a "gear bench" to me. So, does...

I think the Terra with a tonneau cover might be a better option for you and Scoutsie, @J Alynn . A good bed liner should hold up to bleach without issue, and there would be a lot less chance of the smell getting into the cabin.

You might get your wish, there is speculation that the Hyundai N Vision 74 production car might be coming back. https://thekoreancarblog.com/hyundai-n-vision-74-reportedly-back-on-track-for-june-2026-release/

    Higher Range

I have the same opinion - I would much rather have the stated range (~350 miles for full BEV) and the announced price (starting below $60K). I don't want the price pushed up to or above $80K just to provide 50-100 miles of extra battery that I don't need. I have a BEV with a maximum range of...

Taking bets on the new color of the Traveler Concept to be seen soon...

That is just about the whole color spectrum. They already did blue on the Terra, so I guess this means it will be a white/grey/black.

Solid-state batteries for EVs at least 10 years away

In an InsideEVs article about upcoming EVs with solid-state batteries, I thought this quote was telling. So even with all the latest hype, we are still at least 10 years away from seeing solid-state batteries for EVs become mainstream.

    Plaid Trim Option

I am adding this to the suggestion box so we can get some up-votes and hopefully get Scout to offer this. Scout should offer a "Plaid trim package" that is just an interior option for the seats and some of the interior cloth panels. I am not suggesting the entire seat should be plaid. I am...

Scout Terra Debuts in New Silo Color and Retheme

Since you are looking for feedback, here is my opinion on the exterior changes (and the truck in general): The new color is great, and I like that you are not going with white/grey/black. I hope these colors are available when the Scouts go up for sale. I am not a fan of the 37-inch tires, but...

Scout Terra Debuts in New Silo Color and Retheme

You need to start a thread in the Suggestion Box with this so I can up-vote this suggestion. Of all the trim options I have seen (in real life and suggested) this has to be one of the top three I have seen.
