  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Scout Concepts At LA Auto Show, November 21-30, 2025

My 2007 BMW was their fake leather and when we traded it in the Honda dealer had it marked as leather and I didn’t correct them. I’m sure the stuff now is even better.

Oh yes, yes I did. My husband just said next time if we have more notice he wants to rent the Fuji camera he has been wanting to try. There’s a place called lenserentals.com and they rent cameras and lenses. There’s a 100 megapixel Fuji he’s been wanting to try. So that will be for the...

Woke up and checked the weather and here on the forum. Where we live just a little bit of rain at 10, other than that just windy. Checked the weather in Chicago and saw Jamie’s post. Turned off my alarm and hopefully everything is a go. New revised time to get on the road, goal of 11 which...

I concur. I already posted mine. Christmas trees. Outdoor light shows. Kwanza, Hanukkah. Post your holiday decor.

Don't let the Scout become a status symbol; why $60k misses the point of the Revival

Consumers know what the starting price is and they have 130,000 reservations and that number was from a while ago. It’s certainly more by now.

Don't let the Scout become a status symbol; why $60k misses the point of the Revival

Having had a Wrangler for 12 going on 13 years and having test driven multiple Wranglers in the last couple years and spending hours with the Scout concepts at Nats the Scout just feels different. I’m all in at their stated price.

The gas tank needs to be bigger on the Harvester models

Yes that would be helpful. There’s at least one video out there for sure with a woman reviewing the after reveal and she says 350 battery/150 gas. With stuff like that floating around it would be helpful to have is spelled out on the website.

Don't let the Scout become a status symbol; why $60k misses the point of the Revival

I’ve been following along. I appreciate the respectful nature of the dialog. Here is all I would add. I have seen these concepts in person. I know these aren’t base, but even taking it down to a “base” trim I don’t see these being able to go down to $40,000, especially with their size...
