  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Thanks Jamie. Is the smallest wheel/tire setup a 18 with a 33? Or will the base be even smaller than that?

One Giant Leap Into the World of EV Ownership

I thought of that yesterday as we were shoveling and snow blowing 9 inches. We had to recharge our snowblower batteries halfway through!

The backpack is definitely creative. I really want the tire, but I think it’s fun there’s options. Oh, and puppy!

    CYURE GOES TO CHICAGO 12/10/2025

There’s a record store that was in an article and they said they pay their rent for the entire year just with the Taylor Swift vinyls they sell. 😹. It’s definitely making a comeback.

    CYURE GOES TO CHICAGO 12/10/2025

Good morning from the frozen tundra! I swear. It’s freezing here. I’m starting today with a tidbit I learned from a lovely SM team member. I was admiring the wheels. These are may favorite so far. I saw the post someone did from LA where they pointed out the wheel has the coordinates of...

She has a suit I got from a woman in Canada. When it gets below 20 the suit goes on. Below 40 she has a doggie jacket. She’s not a fan of the suit at all. 😹

Work moved us to Illinois 10 years ago. We are Native Californians. I told my husband yesterday in fact that I never thought I would live in a place with so much snow. 😹

    Scout Color Poll #1

It’s a statement all right. All kidding aside, I do hope we get some “flashy” liveries. That would be really fun.

Don't let the Scout become a status symbol; why $60k misses the point of the Revival

    1. Scout has been very clear on multiple occasions that their pricing it’s $20k less than their competitors (Rivian). I went to the presentation they had at Nats and heard it with my own ears. 2. Dealer markup is not a new thing. I found the window sticker from our early 2000 Xterra and...

Don't let the Scout become a status symbol; why $60k misses the point of the Revival

To respond to your comments to @thi08 and @jalynn, AI clearly states the Scout traveler is a full sized SUV and the fact that it is only a two row provides more storage and intrinsic value to the market looking to overland, camp and escape the grid. Additionally comparing the Scout to Chevy...

See if you can get Gemini to do it. It’s doing weird things when I ask it to use the Traveler carrier.

Don't let the Scout become a status symbol; why $60k misses the point of the Revival

Oh we can certainly handle disagreements here and we have plenty of them. We have become quite the little family around here I feel. I think the issue is the only answer you seem to want is for Scout to say you know what Tom, you are correct. We were wrong and we are going to reduce the...
