  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

    FB find of the day

Sort of silver, maybe with a hint of green to me.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Same for me, would be cool if there was a watch face for the Apple watch.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I would hope so, ideally as standard, hopefully with an auto fold on lock option as well.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I’m hoping for this as well, might be easier for my dogs, especially if they don’t put ceiling or b pillar fan vents in. You can raise the seats like that in an F-150 as well so I’m hoping Scout will too.

Trying to understand size, especially interior.

The thread with comparisons is https://community.scoutmotors.com/threads/size-comparison.1302/post-17260 there's others on there as well but that post is against the F-150.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Exactly how I feel about this color, I'd like to see it on other cars as it's pretty unique and interesting looking, but I wouldn't get it for myself.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

We've had two houses in our street install solar this past month with the credits expiring. I also saw them giving a quote to another house so I'll be interested to see if it turns out to be 3 houses before the end of the year.

How did you find out about the new Scouts?

No history with Scout for me, I'm from the UK originally so had never even heard of Scout until I heard about it here. I was looking and researching EV pick up trucks for a while, I was leaning towards the F150 Lightning over the Silverado EV but had some concerns on both over software compared...

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I wonder what that would do for the range.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

With how long this thread is, this may have been said but I didn't find anything when searching. I'd like easily accessible and switchable data. By that I mean the ability to switch easily between battery percentage and miles of range (I just use percentage but I know some people like only...

Show us your holiday spirit and/or Xmas tree

It is supposed to be a snowman hat I think. We really like it, it’s a little different and stays on top way easier than the star we used to have.
  12. Chaz26

    What age group are you?

35-44 for me, still in my 30s, might not be when I get my Scout, we’ll see 😂

Show us your holiday spirit and/or Xmas tree

Tree is all up, outside is pretty much done, just have to do some wreaths on the windows upstairs tomorrow.

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING 2025

    Happy thanksgiving!

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Yeah that’s the main reason for me. They can also pattern out and do ‘light shows’ but I just wanted them for the high beam function. Hopefully that will start to be more common here now they are legal. Most vehicles in Europe have them these days.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I have them on my car and I think they’re great, it’s nice on unlit roads where I can still have my side of the road lit up along with the side of the road to help look for deer without having to dip them or blind a car that is oncoming.

    Software Features

I do in my Tesla because if the car is unlocked and I hit the charge port door when power washing it would open (you can tap the charge port door to open it normally in my car) and that disables it.

5klbs towing cap with gas range extender?

For me in your scenario, it would depend on how often you do this, if it's once or twice a year vs every few weeks and how far away you are towing. Also, since there is time before orders are locked in I would see if any new charging infrastructure is opened up on your typical route. It will...

Will Scout offer a computer controlled air oil suspension

Me too, I like the idea of air suspension but I worry about longevity in the system.

What accessories would the supplier park install?

For me ceramic window tint, maybe a screen protector, ceramic coating of the interior if needed, and PPF would be the main ones (with options for if you want partial or full PPF). I would probably go with the front, including mirrors, and then around the door handles, as well as the rocker panel...
