  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Thanks. I said left in my head 🤣

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Welcome to the SM Community. The broncos did that because of possible door removal. It was frustrating at first because life long door location but in time you get used to it and it does make sense. Maybe they stay on doors but passenger side adds an master rear side windows control that...

Scout Concepts At LA Auto Show, November 21-30, 2025

My guess is you have one and do t realize it. Most are chromed or capped. Most are just a rubber pad on an area raised on the far right left side of the driver’s footwell

If they don’t offer an option-yeah-would be good. I’m gonna guess there will be a MGV interior ILO a cloth interior

No-not a clutch. But on an auto it would be similar location to keep feet at same angle just as you’d have using the clutch in a manual transmission-so similar but different

The spot on the drivers side floor that is usually raised to rest your left foot on and it’s angled the same as the gas/brake pedal in traditional cars so your leg and foot angles are consistent. Most cars have them.

Saw a lot of Broncos that people did Katzkin or similar seat covers and they looked great. I’m all for that but if new Scout interiors look as good as concepts and there is flexible interior/exterior combos so I can get PBY exterior and clay interior than I don’t think I’ll need to change...

And maybe instead of the plaid perforation's it could be cowboy boot stitch patterns. That would be different. A denim jeans and boots inspired interior

I know it won’t be popular but I’d like to see a dark navy/charcoal fabric with a very pale gray or off-white leather just to see it. I know hard core use won’t want that but since mine is primarily an asphalt adventurer, it would be cool to see. Especially with a blue-based exterior. And since...

Is there anything SM could offer to get you to switch from EREV to BEV?

Yeah-I’ve looked at that option as well and I think that is doable unless I finish our attic space over our garage then I’m SOL. I’ll know that before I’ll need the charger so at least I’ll know. And then putting in the additional panel makes more sense. I’ve budgeted the $1200 but hoping to...

My guess is they wanted a quick turn around on the Terra so they pulled the white from top and swapped out the brown. I know there was a question either at reveal or on here as to whether each vehicle would have distinct features interiors and I’m not sure it was ever actually answered. I’m sure...
