Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    I do realize Scout has never indicated it would go higher then 350. Since we are several years from release, Chevy getting close 500, Riven at 420 and both offering different levels of battery size i was hoping a max battery option could get it to 400.

    I believe new quad motor riv with max pack is 125k +. So offering what I suggest would put the scout around 95k for top tier model.

    Not sure this is the correct string to post the following. My hope from the get go was that the BEV models would get up to 420 mile range by relese time. But now with all the talk about the Harvester models releasing first I wonder if resources will go with those models and improving the range...

    We dont know when the generator kicks on. We don't know if it can charge the battery overnight while camping. We don't know if the generator can power the vehicle when in tow. We dont know if after 495 miles can one put more gas in and go or will it need a supercharge. We don't know how that...

    Great points but until the final details are figured out on what the EREV is going to do this 80% number is arbitrary. Unless i missed something all we know is the engine they plan to use. So many aspects have not been figured out. This has to effect 20% of EREV reservations. If I am correct...

    Like Cure said it depends on how long it is delayed. Come summer of 2028 if the Bev is not available I will throw down in the latest quad motor Rivian. I would in no way shape or form go with a EREV.

    Of course you don't care. You are in the I dont care generation. I care that both systems get released at the same time and every one is happy. I just can't help but think the Harvester is not going to do what 50% of the folks who have reserved them want them to do. Time will tell.

    Hopefully those rigs you see are at the camp ground to re charge and move on to dispersed off road sites. That's the only time I would go to camp ground. You do make a valid point however sometimes rough highways are harder then off road trails do to the speed most folks drive.
