  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

What would your last vehicle be if you had to decide today

Had a few friends with Regal T-types same drive as Grand Nationals without limited additions and you could get in color not just black. Had a lot of fun in those. When GNX came out it definitely drew a lot of attention from us all. Great car

What will be your Scout's Vanity Plate?

If it holds true to my Scouts in the past. The truck that gets stuck trucks usually out of mud and snow.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Daytime running lights that also illuminate taillights. With the advent of really bright running lights and digital dashboards to many people are delayed or forget to turn on headlights if not set to auto. I was in rental a bit back and got pulled over for taillights out and the officer told...

    What was your first car?

‘77 Firebird with Pontiac 301 bought for $50 my father found. I’m #4 of 5 siblings and the first 4 of us average a year and a half between each. So oldest got family 76 impala wagon then bought her own car and handed down to #2 then he got his own and past to #3. By this time the “Imp” made a...

Luxury features I would like to See

Agreed on trims but the forerunner is not offered in the Lexus world but if you want a luxury Land Cruiser it’s sold by Lexus. History: Pontiac and Chevy too similar and when economy got ruff one was sacrificed. Plymouth and Dodge same thing. Just saying auto companies if they look to...

Luxury features I would like to See

Kinda hoping they Keep Scout more blue collar. Beer and fire pit. Riven white collar. Country club I think corporate may also try to keep separate if too close it could ultimately hurt sales for both then it would end up only one can survive.

    Off-topic stuff…

Fully respect that I’ve had a lot of friends stop. I live outside NYC on Long Island and with the sheer population of drivers that can’t wait to text riding has become very defensive. I love early morning rides. Leave between 5-6am on weekends. Quieter streets.

    Audio system

If they stick with US manufacturers I vote McIntosh for premium audio. Not a lot of companies in the states that manufacture their car audio in US that could handle demand. Curious which way this goes. 🎶
