  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Scout Traveler Debuts in New Pacific Mist Color

This is fantastic, the denim inspired fabric is a great touch! The denim style would look great on the initial Terra interior as well.

In the passenger seat, who would you take?

Haha, fair enough on the wife, sometimes being in the passenger seat is the ultimate test of patience. Not cliche at all, your dad sounds like the perfect road-trip buddy though. A built-in debate partner, DJ, and co-pilot who won’t fall asleep halfway through. Sounds like the kind of ride...

"Hands down my favorite shot of the Traveler so far—the bird’s-eye view. Cropped and not the best quality, but it nails what I love about it: the Carbana top, the strong stance, and those timeless body lines." -From the Scout Motors page

One factor that may impact my decision will be production, will this occur at the same time?

In the passenger seat, who would you take?

Present would be my son. He's only 4 but love all things dirt related and mechanical. I always joke He'll know his trucks before his letters and numbers as he can identify the majority of his hot wheels makes and models and spots trucks out while we're driving. I really look forward to...

In the passenger seat, who would you take?

This is a great story and such a great way to remember her each time you see Wile Coyote in the seat. Seems like she left a lasting impression on you.

In the passenger seat, who would you take?

We have a few day's until we see the next color is uncovered on the Traveler, to kill some time I thought I would post a thread on who would you choose to take on a drive.... Imagine this: you’re heading out on a long drive, no distractions, just the open road and time for conversation. If you...

Taking bets on the new color of the Traveler Concept to be seen soon...

Not sure you would have located it in a search bar since it's an image. Keeping up with the updates you almost have to login daily and a lot of conversations occurred over the weekend causing the pages to extend.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Yes, that would’ve been the one—it showed up in most of the promos. The three-gauge cluster on the dash reminds me so much of the original Z’s. Like you mentioned, I love how much the current design draws from the originals. Goes to show, if it’s not broken, there’s no need to fix it. It’s...

In the video in Germany we saw a flat gray Traveler on the screen, perhaps this was a clue?

I could get on board with this as a Marylander! Crab cake, football, and Scouts!

    Single person vehicle

I completely agree with this, as much as I'd love SM to develop a 2 door variant with modularity, we'd be limited in range. With the pace of battery tech developing, smaller pack sizes that allow extended range may not be out of the question.
