  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

How would you build your Scout?

Agreed. My husbands car the color name is Tungsten. So color of metal/silver. Love it but that’s enough silver in the house for me.

    What’s your hobby

Glad to hear you made it back safely. Part of the problem with getting older. A few weeks ago I threw out my lower back leaning forward to pick up a cast iron pan with a lid. Absolutely ridiculous. Had to go to the doctor and everything. Take it easy, glad you had fun!!

    New route-finding application

Sounds like something I would need. When I pick up my Scout I’m going to need a direct line for help from you. I’m Really hoping to do a factory pick up and it’s a little scary never having driven an EV before, but I’m determined to do it!

How would you build your Scout?

I’m not a big silver fan, but I really like the lighter color with the black wheels and black roof.

How would you build your Scout?

I wasn’t going to reply, but no one has ever called me a “truly horrible human being” even if they are trying to make a joke, which I’m not sure this was. First of all, I never said I was from Illinois. Yes I live here. Not from here. However, I love my adopted state. There’s nothing wrong...

How would you build your Scout?

I can’t even imagine a Grenadier on a wheel and tire set up like that. 😹. Poor kid. Vehicles are so personal I really try to be respectful. If that makes someone happy then more power to you, but it wouldn’t be for me.

How would you build your Scout?

Good morning everyone! Been thinking about this. I don’t like angry eyes Jeep grills either. Think it’s ridiculous, but if that’s someone’s jam who am I to judge. With the Scout I hope it’s similar to what you can do with Wranglers and Broncos and 4Runners and Grenadiers. If I wanted a...

when does production begin ..pLEASE HURRY UP

That’s what I think. Also I wonder does that mean one model, the Traveler or also BEV or Harvester first so they are truly just focusing on one model. If that’s the case I think BEV first just because they started developing that one first so it seems it should be further along in development...
