  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Trail Side Fixes?

I think of "24/7 Roadside Assistance" as changing a flat, sending a tow truck, etc. Not as sending a Scout certified tech out to repair your EV while you wait.

Why the door handles/locks should not be purely electric...

Love it. This is just one more reason why I feel like Scout has an excellent handle on what they can make electric / electronic (new school) and what they can keep mechanical (old school) to create a perfect balance that will attract a wide audience of buyers.

Will Scout Offer a Premium Audio Option?

Not completely true. I have a premium sound system in my old open air Wrangler. Sounds fantastic. Just have to turn it up really, really, really loud.

    Optional 37” Tires

I have a few wheeling buddies who rock Treps. They all love them. So I'd say they're quite practical for a trail rig. ;)

    Optional 37” Tires

Actually, with 50s, you can lose a lot of whatever the weakest link in the drivetrain is lol.

Make Hybred engine option with bigger gas tank and the abilty to recharge battery when vehicle is sitting.

The Harvester will be available on both the Traveler SUV and Terra truck.

    40s are the new 35s!

Make Hybred engine option with bigger gas tank and the abilty to recharge battery when vehicle is sitting.

Scout has stated that the Harvester will be able to charge the batteries while the vehicle is parked.

Scout Traveler SUV Green Off-Road Concept

I like the overall package - black 18s, running boards, roof rack, bumpers with bull bar and winch / mount. My take is that this would likely be a package a lot of people would opt for, even if just because it's a cool appearance. I think it would be beneficial for it to be available as a...

    Offroad Feature Request: Front Dig

Yes indeed. I believe that Scout will be a brand that eventually has robust aftermarket support, maybe sooner rather than later. I'd love to see venerable Warn hubs on a Scout.

    Trail Side Fixes?

Back to your question. I speculate that, outside of specific event related promos, there is a 0% chance that Scout offers mobile on-trail service. That said, I also speculated that there was a 100% chance that Dana would supply axles for Scout, so.....

    Offroad Feature Request: Front Dig

Yep, I've got an Atlas in my Wrangler and can do front digs. Very handy to be able to do on the trail, although really only with a locked front diff. I have no experience trying to do a front dig with an LSD or torque vectoring front end. I have tried to do front dig while open and it was...

    Harvester towing

This is one of the reasons I like my Grand Cherokee Hemi Trailhawk so much and would buy another one if they were still putting the 5.7 in them. It is a very comfortable upmarket SUV with a rich feature set and 450+ mile range, can tow 7,200 (so it can tow my Wrangler on a flat bed) with a 275...
