  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Oooooof “On Monday morning, I spoke to a Volvo EX90 owner who reported a litany of issues with her 2025 EX90: Malfunctioning phone-as-a-key functionality, a useless keyfob, a keycard that rarely worked quickly, constant phone connection issues, infotainment glitches and error messages. I was...

I'm going to try to gas light myself about batteries and range

We survived the first real world day with the Air. Left the battery pack at home. Lasted my 8 hour shift of running tickets and doomscrolling (or whatever the kids call it), a Boy Scout Den Meeting, and some light scrolling at home. It made it from 7:49 to 22:23 without plopping it on a...

“Resisting scritches is futile.” -Spock Huckleberry is a portkey to the timeline where we didn’t euthanize Haramabe and everyone was born with 31,642 Bitcoin. “I’m tired of your shit.” - Muro “You lucky you bigger than me.” - Poppit Ragdoll thinks the auto feeder should go off thrice a...

I know a few guys that wheel the crap out of the Cayennes They are pretty cheap used, and when you don’t pay much it doesn’t hurt to get a few whiskey dents

Not being a butthead, but without knowing how many they had listed this may be a nothing burger.

The Garage (What did you work on today?)

You are a good friend, Wrath. Also be sure to replace the strut bearings (if it has them). That may also be the culprit, but you typically see play in those and hear clunks when they go out. But its best practice to replace them if you are replacing struts.

    What was your first car?

I worked all summer at 15 years old for a local house builder to buy my first car. Picked up trash and scraps on the build sites all summer long and helped with unloading materials. Pretty grueling stuff but I managed to save up $1,800 in cash. My grandpa had 2 trucks at the time. A newer red...

What does the base model look like to you?

Thank our Lord and Savior Dale Earnhardt Junior for that. Fixed that for you.

That sounds like a lot of razzle dazzle for a kid. Must have been a hoot!

You can label it "Top Secret: Classified Scout Leaks" so FBI agents can learn more about Scouts too. Im sure the War Thunder forums get boring after a while.

What does the base model look like to you?

I mean even my first car (1985 F150) had power windows. Its hard to have context when something doesnt really exist anymore. My 79 Cherokee Chief and 2010 Tacoma (2door short bed base model) had hand crank windows but everything else old and new had power windows. Though I am sure there...

In your defense A. It is hard as heck to see because they were hiding it behind that post for a while. B. Bobcat makes me think of a bobbed tail cat which usually just have a little nubbin, not a mid-length tail. C. Coloration isnt clear either and I expected to see more markings or spots...
