  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Olympian Motors. Funky designs. $80k and FWD only, so I see limited appeal. https://olympianmotors.com/model-84

    0-60 times with harvester

I don't think weight is the reason why the Harvester models will be slower. It's the smaller battery pack with a different chemistry.

Light trucks didn't have to meet the same safety standards as cars until 1999. It was probably easier to make them narrower then. CAFE standards for light trucks remained essentially unchanged from 1984 to 2004, making it easier for auto companies to increase their size.

https://roxoroffroad.com/hd-all-weather-model Roxor is 60.7 inches. They are similar to original Scouts in size and capability. Not street legal from the factory. Of course, the original IH Scouts wouldn't be road legal either if manufactured today.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I agree. Unimogs offer a cool feature called Variopilot. The steering wheel, pedals, and gauges can slide from one side of the cab to the other in 30 seconds.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I interpreted what they are hoping for is the actual physical screen would slide over, not just moveable screen tiles.

I thought the Ramcharger was only delayed, not cancelled? The large battery Ram REV was definitely cancelled.

It's the Patrol. In much of the world, it's as legendary as the Toyota Land Cruiser. Here's a picture of one that belongs to a friend of mine in Australia.

Aren't side curtain airbags placed in that space? There might not be enough room for HVAC ducts.

It's a cash grab. They see Mercedes selling $200,000 G Wagens and they want a piece of that. X7 Alpina is their most expensive large SUV and it starts under 160k.

You say that like it's a bad thing!;) I get Gen 1 Toyota Venza vibes from the Gravity. I love wagons and vans. Way more practical than SUV's for most uses.
