  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Scout Color Poll #1

I remember now, it’s dog beds, blankets, etc. https://anchorpetsupply.com/

Let me try to find her.

Do you think we will see a Travelette (Long Bed Heavy Duty)?

As for a business case, I am pretty sure that International Motors would rather buy class 4 and 5 trucks from Scout rather than GM as they do now. Perhaps the Light Line gets reintroduced and Scout handles everything up to class 3 and International handles class 4 - 8. But, those vehicles will...

Not my dog, not my Scout. This lady makes the blankets and used this as her advertising. Great green color.

    Rivian Rs2 vs Scout Traveler

It’s closed every time I try to go.

    Scout Color Poll #1

It looks like IH had most of that palette covered in 1980 where they left off. I do think we need modern versions of the colors though.

I didn't think so. I am sure if there were a really good reason, engineers would have spec'd it. Most fasteners on tractors and construction equipment are hex bolts/screws and flanged hex bolts. Maybe Scout could go that way for a tough/ag tie in.

    Travelall 3 Row

My first hunting trip was in a green Travelall that was this same color, minus the woody decals.

I just hope it is all metric. I am American, but feel comfortable enough in my skin to support metric.

I do not disagree, but...are any vehicles, anywhere using the square-headed Robertson?

Scout merch should also include camping chairs, blankets, umbrellas etc. Lifestyle stuff beyond clothing.

I thought I remembered it being a blue Traveler. The guy in the cowboy hat owns it and the brewery.

I don't think that is the same Scout that was at the reveal...from what I remember. My phone was dead during dinner so I do not have any photos.

Here is the main issue in the article. Now comes Scout, a division of Volkswagen that will make electric SUVs at its plant under construction on I-77 at Blythewood. Everything else is true and obviously a concern. The pollution story just will not go away. I have a growing concern that the...

Yeah, Ai takes a lot of creative license. But, you get the idea. I think Scout can preserve the lines and just stretch it.

    Travelall 3 Row

I posted an AI enhanced image of the Traveler a while back that was stretched and it didn't look too bad. I'll see if I can find it.
