  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Hoping for a simple option - will pay extra!

So true…the HOW is such a key component to all of it.

Luxury features I would like to See

I couldn’t agree more. PRICE is absolutely my main concern. It’s the biggest factor that could keep me from being able to own a Scout.

Luxury features I would like to See

I agree. It’s likely asking quite a lot. Especially because I’m also asking for a well-priced vehicle as my #1 request. I don’t think those two items are likely to mesh together. I’d also like to hear from someone with experiences with such a system.

Motors, Control Arms and Ground Clearance

I hope everything came out okay.

Luxury features I would like to See

Agreed. My terrain often includes elevation changes between 3k feet or less and 10k feet or more during the same trip. I’m also driving trails on most weekends. CTIS (if accurate, seamless, and reliable) would be amazing for ALL of the reasons everyone has mentioned.

What one thing would you like to see changed from concept to production?

Definitely a letdown, right? I was a bit bummed about it.

Supra…that’s another one I’d love to drive and own. I’m not surprised at all that you guys love it! Very cool. :) I always yell SUPRA! whenever I see one out and about.

What one thing would you like to see changed from concept to production?

For me, it would be open-air options. I love removable tops and doors for more freedom and configurable driving experiences. I first experienced this with my family’s ‘79 K5 and ever since then I’ve driven vehicles with open air options whenever possible.

What one thing would you like to see changed from concept to production?

Just make sure you don’t add the flopping window part from the Bronco. The Broncos I have experience with include a lot of door glass flopping and rattling around as you open the door. :ROFLMAO:

I had not caught wind of this, thank you. Something between a TT and an R8 huh? I’m curious to see how this one unfolds.

Scout Concepts in New York City September 18-19, 2025

That makes sense, I can appreciate the need to not have the rear tire carrier in order to fit in the garage. Hopefully they give us options since we’ll all be using them differently. I have to say though, I really do love the look of the spare on the rear. I also love the insurance of a...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I’d say for me it would be a total waste. I just wouldn’t ever use an automated driving feature aside from a novelty scare-me trip or two just to see how it acts for the heck of it, then I’d go back to driving myself. I love driving. Like someone else said, if I want someone else driving...
