  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

I mean it’s an effective strategy…albeit a painful one. Definitely effective. My problem is I’d be trying to polish them out the next time I wash/wax/ceramic/detail. :ROFLMAO:

    Single Touch Window Controls

Can you roll down all windows from the app as well? Is it ALL only or can you do windows individually? Can you vent (roll down a couple of inches) all windows as well? My thoughts went sideways for a moment: I really wish the R1T rear window had the ability to roll down. I realize the design...

Same here, I’ve never tried them because of all the reasons you listed as well as the high cost.

I’ve had the same experience as well. I guess there’s always those magnetic “trail armor” sets that some companies produce. Unfortunately, IF any of those companies decide to produce a set I suspect they would cost in the neighborhood of $1,200.00 to $1,500.00 or more for the Terra or...

Thank you. Very helpful. Just not at all what I wanted to hear. :ROFLMAO:

I could get on board with this. Sign me up.

I had assumed the same as well. I think it may even be a reasonable assumption. However, I assure you it is still not an across the board thing!

Thank you, makes sense. I get a bit worried when I look at dimensions because thinking about wedging a vehicle in the width category of a Tahoe or Sequoia down tighter trails makes me take a step back. I’d have to either stop going to some of my favorite places, or be sure to always carry a...

What’s your feeling after seeing them in person - do they feel smaller, bigger, or the same size as a Tahoe? I’m most concerned with the width because it’s such a hinderance on overgrown trails. EDIT: It concerns me to think the Traveler is only 1 inch skinnier than a Tahoe (mirrors folded...

    Single Touch Window Controls

This is such a wonderful and convenient idea. I agree it would be magnificent if the Scouts allowed for a double-click/long press on each window switch to allow for auto up and auto down for the occasions where you’re looking for the window to go all the way. I’m so surprised that more people...

Motors, Control Arms and Ground Clearance

Dang, I had no idea. Pretty cool. I found this article on those. It made me puke in my mouth a little, but still awesome after swallowing the idea of $230k+. I always forget just how expensive Ineos’ vehicles are to begin with...

Nice Comanche! My experience has been it is not easy to find one in the condition that yours appears to be in. I love it. Congratulations.

Scout's Have a Great Day campaign is live

I just had this ad come up during a YouTube video. That was pretty cool! (y) Edit: I rewatched the one posted here and I swear they’re different. The one from YouTube was about having a great day too though. Is there already more than one ad from this campaign? This is the first time I wish...

Good points about community and not hiring actors! I dig it. (y)

    Mystery Scout?

Is it possible it was ordered from the factory to add the fold-down windshield option that year?

What one thing would you like to see changed from concept to production?

Yeah that’s pretty wild. I don’t think I’d be all that thrilled to be treated that way after giving my hard-earned money for the vehicle. Not a good consumer experience, to say the least.

What one thing would you like to see changed from concept to production?

Don’t get me wrong, the Bronco Raptor is quite the vehicle.

What one thing would you like to see changed from concept to production?

That’s good to hear, but disappointing it didn’t completely solve it. I’ve been in and out of many of the Broncos and I’m a bit shocked it made it to production without having that solved…especially after seeing it happen on the Bronco Raptor as well. In my book those things are crazy...
