  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Scout Terra Debuts in New Silo Color and Retheme

I thought so. Thank you! It helps give some scale to the video you posted. I’ll have to go watch again with roughly 6’ 3” in mind. I had assumed he must be well north of 6 foot, but wasn’t certain just how far up there he was.

Correct - I was referring to the roof color, not the glass portion.

Thank you so much for sharing! Many more details to be seen here. Anybody know roughly how tall Chris Benjamin is? The Terra just looks so fantastic in this form and color. I didn’t notice before, but it looks like a black roof - looks amazing. I still love the compass and the Scout box...

Taking bets on the new color of the Traveler Concept to be seen soon...

You’ll be okay. Just take it one breath at a time, do not hyperventilate! :ROFLMAO:

There might be someone or two here that can’t breathe if it ends up being yellow.

I haven’t made up my mind when it comes to interior color scheme. I don’t dislike any of them and I probably lean toward the original Traveler interior, but I don’t know that any of them are truly up my alley. Don’t get me wrong, the designers did an amazing job with all of them. I just don’t...

I’ll admit I was a little surprised at how well that thing swallows a 37 inch tire. It gives me a good idea of the actual size even though I’ve seen the dimensions and all, it’s just different to see the reality of it in pictures.

I was also wondering if these are intended to double as a slider. Or are these the step-only version, but still friendly for some lighter off-pavement adventures (since they don’t impede ground clearance) and there’ll be a different version intended for actual slider duty on tougher terrain?

I love the extra ground clearance with the 37 inch tires.

I know I’ve said it before, but I really wish SM would consider adding an A-pillar handle for the driver as well. I’d love to see it added for the production vehicles. It’s literally the most used entry on the vehicle. I’ve had vehicles with it and without it. I very much prefer to have it...

Holy cow, the Terra is a completely different animal in this configuration!!! It came out amazing!

    SEMA top 3

I’d love to see whatever they come up with as their most off-road worthy version of the vehicles that might actually have a chance of making it to production. Kind of like Jeep has the Rubicon.
