  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

I love the feather design, I bidded on one of these a few years back on BaT, I thought the price was too high (pre COVID) now it looks like a bargain.

    Rivian CEO Interview

Each time I see one of your posts with you're user names I have to do a double take and look at the icon with the similarity in the username, it's the icon that separates it for me. Now knowing you both reside in the same area makes me believe you're long lost cousins.

What one thing would you like to see changed from concept to production?

One feature I’ve appreciated on the Bronco is the frameless windows, which provide improved visibility. While SM doesn’t currently have a need for this design since the doors are intended to be stored in the cargo area once removed on the Bronco, I hope it’s something that could be considered...

Back To Baja 2025 - The Documentary

That would be awesome. I've really been intrigued by the Baja scene the last few years and hoping to plan a trip with Slow Baja, it would be awesome to do this in an EV/BREV. The trips are typically 4-6 hours a day over 6 days. If the infrastructure would support an EV I'd be all in.

Scout Spotters: Post your online finds here

    Softopper for Terra?

I currently have a Softtopper for my Tacoma, assuming that the Terra doesn't change it's truck bed design, it should work. The Softtopper requires a flat surface on the truck bed rails and side rails in the bed.

Scout II Restoration Updates! - Colton Stevens

Colton- this is plaid to the bone! I love the intrigation of the flannel in the seats-nice touch. I can't compliment this build enough, you'll get plenty of thumbs up in this ride. The thing I love hearing the most is the stories of those who owned one back in the day and what joy it brings them...
