  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Okay fellow Scout detectives. Does this look close to any vintage colors? If so which ones? I’m still not as familiar with all the vintage colors.

That Harvester door doesn’t look like a sticker. It looks like the design is stamped into the door. I like it.

    Audio system

I always ask questions around here. I grew up with cars that had crappy stereos or speakers and you would go have something else put in. In my latest new cars it hasn’t been an issue. Honestly couldn’t tell you what brand they have. But I do know it’s important to people. What’s the...

    Size comparison

I agree, just something to get used to. Not quite the same but when my husband upgraded my engagement ring I said something about the ring being big, and I will never forget, my jeweler said “it’s only too big if someone else is wearing it”. So I’m just thinking of it that way. It’s only...

Option for no tire on back.

Or if you have a basement you throw all the stuff in the basement. My garage is pretty empty and we can get 3 cars in just fine. But don’t go in the storage part of the basement.

I’m really curious if it whistles. That’s why you see so many Wranglers with the light bar brackets and no light bar. They took it off because it whistles. That’s why I got A pillar lights. No whistle.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I had a Sony flip phone in like 1994 or 1995. It had a little tiny plastic antenna you had to pull up. The youngs don’t know how easy they have it.

The Garage (What did you work on today?)

I grew up with an aerospace engineer dad who had a bar in the living room he turned into a workbench complete with oscilloscope. I thought it was just my house. 😹

I like all your vintage watches in your picture. My son collects watches so that looks very familiar.

Option for no tire on back.

I just love the way it looks and that one time we were moving cross country. Getting ready to drive 1995 miles from California to Illinois and I had a flat tire on my Jeep. Like 4 hours before we were supposed to get on the road. Ended up being a nail but I did not have time to figure that...

I love Land Rovers but would never buy one. Those are cars you lease only, if that.

I really want A pillar lights. Then I don’t have to worry about height and I still get extra lighting.

I really like the clean look. At this point I don’t want the rack either.
