  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Well. Now @Scoutsie and I know the body capacity for our side “gig”. Very helpful

Definitely room in the Scout for some additional 2-litres, and garlic bread sticks 🤣

In person it feels very generous as a secondary storage space

Scout Terra Debuts in New Silo Color and Retheme

I’ve always liked the look but no rear need and I don’t think that’s helping if a deer leaps out at me

Again-I don’t care what Jamie says about you-you’re a stand up guy

Butter yellow-that’s a fantastic suggestion @dreamweaver. Amazed nobody had suggested that sooner 🤣

Sorry I missed this before I responded

I’ll agree but the front sliding seat doesn’t slide past the front face of the standard bumper so my guess it will still slide open to get to the storage but sitting on it will be damn near impossible 😀

    Higher Range

I recall this post and it was helpful as a real world reference

Exactly right. I also have to think the bull bar is set to clear. Why would Scout show a concept item not to turn around and say another feature doesn’t work? That said-Bronco covered the front grill letters with their design and got a lot of grief

    LMAO

    Higher Range

We are all assuming entry level means 350. 350 may be a step up-grade and base may be 290-300. SM has yet to tell us anything on tiered battery power

@cyure doesn’t really care about us-she is only team butter yellow 🤣

They should sell redneck bungees just for that

Charge port at front, passenger side

    Fair point!

We own EVs. Ask Us Anything.

Yeah-with working at home Monday and Thurs that should help my family out immensely. And my wife is home Fridays so if we get the traveler then the future smaller open top Scout we should be fine with charging on one charger

    Plaid Trim Option

Hotel I’m staying at for work has lots of furniture that could work in the scouts. Nice leather combo, a neutral plaid and a nice gray leather with houndstooth.
