  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

    Don’t be shy, say hi!

Yeah the new ones feel as you described and the exterior visual cues most likely caused my wife to think it too large. I do like the look of the new ones though. Still like the older sequoias as well. Just a good solid vehicle

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I don’t think it’s as impressive as the Scouts or the German vehicles but as a mainstream manufacturer I think it has the right balance to look clean, modern and sharp which is what I think most EV buyers look for. I think those of us here (large portion anyway) want the more upscale traditional...

    Frunk Cooking Recipes

I find chicken stock as a splash or two with lean meat helps

That and cumin. Those two work great in hummus and several African dishes I’ve had. Smoked paprika works well with a bit of cinnamon as well but you have to be light handed.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Welcome. Thanks for posting. Quite a few folks wanting winches and suspect SM will license those out just like roofing racks and similar accessories. Thule and others have it figured out-no reason to try and allocate car resources for accessories. Enjoy the forum!

    Frunk Cooking Recipes

Sadly I cook a lot but generally don’t follow recipes so not much to offer. I’ll think of something

Appreciate that story. Thanks for sharing. So how do you feel about nuclear energy based on your career? And a sequoia is great. Tried to get wife to pull trigger on one but felt too big for her

Scout Terra Debuts in New Silo Color and Retheme

Pretty sure SM stated 18’s will be the smallest they offer

    An Appreciation Post for Jamie

Ironically I’m one of them and Jamie DM’d me the other week and thanked me for greeting new members. I don’t do it to brown nose I do it because I’ve been on here forever and to welcome people let’s them know we are a friendly group-even when we do get into drawn out debates or flame a newbie...

Fantastic. We should start a new thread of just memes and try to tell an entire story related to Scout. I like this one as the starter !

Tell me you wouldn’t want to open the frunk and see Cookie Monster and Oscar the grouch just shootin’ the shit. That would be an amazing SM commercial. Start driving from Sesame Street, pick up Kermit and crew in the back bed and do an epic road trip for the holidays. The count could read mile...

    Bigger frunk

I was thinking about sushi for an hour after I saw that 🤣

No bottle today. Last couple days of travel were rough and just letting off some sarcasm

    FB find of the day

Isn’t it fantastic! I’m sure all their driving experience qualifies them to run a major vehicle manufacturer! They should invite those folks to sit on the board and learn from all their expertise.

July 2025 Scout Motors Production Center Update

You must have missed it. They finished it! Railroad still needs a few weeks-but yeah-factory is complete. It’s all done and they’ve started building the first batch of functioning vehicles for testing.

What is the "Scout Supply gear bench"?

I assumed it was a box to store all the F’&#*g stuff I’m buying in the Scout store 🤣🤣🤣. Scout supply “gear”. Coffee mug, shirt, badge, backpack, Michael Meyers passenger seat companion

Definitely. Now food network pretty much says use 2 sticks of soft butter just to massage it under the skin. If only the coconut coalition was more active in their fight for coconut oil growth.
