  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Stellantis has been in pretty big trouble and their numbers have been way down since they tried to kill off their entire V8 lineup. I think they are finally listening to dealerships and buyers by returning that option. It doesnt necessarily mean they cant keep making hybrids or EVs, but they...

    Must haves to purchase…

Not trying to be a butt, but this feels like another "Dealbreaker" thread. Ill play too though. If a front locker isnt available at launch I will wait or reweigh my options. If I cant get a solid roof with other premium packages then I will wait or look elsewhere. If it doesnt support V2L...

    CYURE GOES TO NATIONALS!!! Yay!!!

All too well my friend. All too well. My past 3 offroaders were all body on frame and had air ride suspension setups. One had OME shocks and the others had Dobinsons and Bilstein combos on tires with a lot of sidewall. She never complained about the ride on those. Her Honda Odyssey however...

    CYURE GOES TO NATIONALS!!! Yay!!!

One thing people often overlook when it comes to ride quality is sidewall height. Your tires are the largest shock absorber on your vehicle. If you opt for 20" wheels and 33" tires youll have a harsher ride that the same exact vehicle with 18" wheels and 35" tires. So that is something I...

    CYURE GOES TO NATIONALS!!! Yay!!!

I have built and purchased a few swingout steel bumpers in the past. They all had a spindle welded to the bumper that you slipped the swingout arm down on and secured with a nut. They can be a pain to do by yourself. Since the Scout carrier is free floating from the bumper youll need to align...

    Terra 5th Wheel Towing?

I just dont see a goosneck/5th wheel being supported until they make a 3/4 ton Travelette. Ill be pleasantly surprised if they do, but would not bank on it for a variety of reasons.
