  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

The Garage (What did you work on today?)

Woot! recently had a deal on some electric scooters so we ordered two refurbished Apollo Gos. I have been busting ass at work but I saw that they had been delivered while I was on the job site and got really excited. As soon as I got home I got them assembled put them on their chargers. Man...

    Don’t be shy, say hi!

It really do be like that. She’s is too light to actually press the buttons but she will lay on my phone or the remote until I provide the ransom of scritches or pats on the butt. Sometimes I have to bust out the laser and make her chase that for a while to get the remote back 😆 We also...

    Must haves to purchase…

To be fair we still don’t know what the front bench fold down arm rest/console even looks like yet. I trust they will do a great job with both. Faith and Patience 😉

She will lay down on it until I find something better to do, like give her scritches.

    Must haves to purchase…

Is would be pretty rad if the front bench could fold flat and butt up to the rear seat so you could have a big sleeping platform if you’re in a pinch.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

The 38 CFR used for military disability gives me migraines every time I try to read up on a condition or technicality. The VA denied that those were service connected btw.

It had rollers. Felt really nice on the way back from the jobsite.

    Massaging Seats

We rented a Wagoneer recently for a week and I was very impressed with the massaging seats. I did feel a little violated though. Didnt realize it "got up in there" like that the first time I used them.

Former Rivian R1S owner, almost twice. Can’t wait for the Scout

I have had similar headaches as posted above, and it affected my business/income so it was more than just a disappointing customer service experience, but I hope you can find a place here if you are genuinely interested in Scouts. You havent been here very long and are already stirring up some...

I dont think less of anyone that will use their Scout as a Mall Crawler, but I will still poke fun. I plan to immediately take mine to the local offroad park and see what its capable of, and just might be one of the first to damage theirs on a trail. It goes both ways though. If I smash a...

The One-Ton Problem with Scout’s Harvester Range Extender

They just need to offer a long wheelbase Travelall and Travelette with beefed up parts and more space for batteries for the towing and long haul focused folks.

Former Rivian R1S owner, almost twice. Can’t wait for the Scout

All good now. I’m in a much better place in every measurable way. But between that experience, Toyota axing the bench seat on Tundras, and not making the 3rd row available on the GX550 Overtrail… I will just not be giving them my business anymore.
