  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Speculation Alert - possible Harvester Engine Choices

I owned almost all different power trains, I4, I6, V6, V8, ICE, HEV, BEV, only thing I haven't owned is PHEV because I think it's the worst of both worlds. Does this qualify me to say bad things about EV now?🤣

Speculation Alert - possible Harvester Engine Choices

Where's the "agree to disagree" nowadays?

Speculation Alert - possible Harvester Engine Choices

They will come back eventually. The new defender got a V8 model, although it's a small SUV

Speculation Alert - possible Harvester Engine Choices

Stellantis do not really have a BEV yet. Even the ram charger's RE tech is coming from Chinese company Leap Motors, which is also known for "valued" product but not good quality product, just like fiat, Chrysler, or stellantis

Speculation Alert - possible Harvester Engine Choices

That is correct. Especially this vehicle seems to be targeting the "outdoorsy" people.

Speculation Alert - possible Harvester Engine Choices

Negative. A main goal of REEV is it shouldn't change the way you live unlike BEV did. You should be able to have full capability not relying on charging network. Of course, people would charge whenever they can, but they shouldn't be limited to that. Otherwise it defeats the whole purpose of 500...

    TAKE YOUR TOP OFF

I'd rather have a strong body structure and roll cage than taking top off. Not everyone want a loud soft top like Gladiator. And I can confirm this since when I quote about changing up my Maverick to Gladiator, how many people came from Gladiator tell me "Don't Do It" in its forum. LOL

Terra- Remove LED trim light on Tailgate

No!!! That's one of the many things I like about it more than the SUV version. Don't listen to him, Scout. I'll cancel my order if that light is gone😆

Mmm. More than 1 source, huh?

Speculation Alert - possible Harvester Engine Choices

In Georgia BEV has over $212 annual special tax (and it's going up every year), it'd be great if Harvester could be categorized as PHEV. Still get full federal tax credit but pay only $20 registration each year. Win-win 😆

[Traveler] Trim that maximizes range and utility

My local dealer said they are having 3 coming in from Germany. First batch would be all made in Germany.

[Traveler] Trim that maximizes range and utility

Get a ID Buzz then, same parent company and should be available soon

[Traveler] Trim that maximizes range and utility

If you can afford a 60-80k EV, should be able to get them another vehicle or Uber.

Does Terra and Traveler has the same wheel base?

Thank you. So Terra is a bit bigger than standard 145 wheelbase f150 length wise. And it should be able to hold more batteries than traveler. Guess the Harvester should have close to ramcharger battery size and generator size then

Love bench seat, but it needs to fold down.

I'll consider it if it retain full capability of the console like fridge 😜

Poll- What have you Reserved... Let's get a small idea of the take rates.

I think what they said was the gas motor kicks in at 150mi, doesn't mean battery drain at 150mi.

    SCOUT TERRA FAQ

Does the Terra has roll down back window like tundra? It looks like that from the launch event with it having a large panel in the center and 2 small triangles to the side. If so that would be a great addition. I hated the small square side-sliding window on my F150, basically useless other...
