Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

    Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

    Will be interesting to see. Seems most in the poll chose blue grey or copper, then other colors I forget. It reminds me of a Harley I had in Amber Whiskey a little.

    I’d have to say the prototype Tahitian red or burnt copper is my favorite so far I think. So I sincerely hope this is a color option to order. Tahitian red, front bench, cabana top, prob EV, premium stereo… so far in my head lol

    I agree, my plan is to get a few things paid off first and put as much down as possible. I’m excited to see others get theirs first especially the first reservation holders.

    Also conversions to actual orders may be much different. Will depend on final specs, trims, and prices also if people stick with it. Many factors so hard to tell.

    I had a similar issue last weekend driving to red river gorge KY. There was one level 2 charger at a cafe that estimated a 4hr charge time near our camp site.     Yes, exactly. With so many walking through parking lots looking at their phones instead of their surroundings they’ll walk directly behind you without paying attention while you are backing up so I definitely love the alerts.

    Brings up a good point I just thought of. When my wife’s Kia sorento backs up it makes a loud beep like a box truck. Tesla makes a whirr noise which is fine. Hopefully the scout does not beep when backing up since it’s a large ev?

    Totally understandable. I’d say that’s about mine also. Im much closer fortunately, about an hour out. Really looking forward to seeing the classic Scouts as well. Fairly sold on the color of the prototype but def can’t wait to see in person.

    What feature(s) do you hope that Scout does NOT include?

    Yes. Considering the scout is longer than bronco not sure it will fit in the garage with the spare. Depending on cost and if comes with the off road package I may not need it as the majority of usage will be daily driver and family. Will have to see.
